I absolutely adored the heroine, Halla, and rooted for her all the way. The stakes are fairly low, as nobody's trying to save the world, but they're high for Halla herself and her friends, and so it's never boring. Love this book!"

These grizzled private eyes are a set of chimeral twins and they're hunting down a mystery killer while fighting for control over their shared body, zoe is often gross but damn if she isnt the heart of this you really start to love her ridiculousness, idk why but i really liked this sad its the only thing ill ever get with a z kimrean

Jade returns to indian lake just in time to be put in the path of an escaped serial killer who looks shockingly like her father, be sure to read these back to back because shit gets going IMMEDIATELY and you'll want to remember character names, fucked up im having a great time totally glued to my seat, hype for book 3 lets go!!!

Fernanda's posessed but its turning out to be a good moment of personal growth... her friends are still kinda concerned though, goddess lady can hang like this feels like what DC comics would come up with as an answer to venom,

A journalist investigates a string of mysterious deaths all connected to a certain cursed video tape, the ring was a book! I had to try it, one of those books where the author doesnt seem to expect women to read it so implicit sexism is unremarkable, i like how much it focused on why the curse was on a video tape that was really interesting,
