Henry’s eyes flashed with desire as he slid a hand up into Alex’s dark curls, carding his fingers along the back of his scalp. “Are you hungry, darling?” Alex groaned, leaning into the touch. “For you? Always, sweetheart.” “Then what are you waiting for?” Henry asked, tipping his head to the side, offering the beautiful, pale column of his neck. “Have a snack.”

Summary:

Henry knew marrying to a vampire had perks, especially the blinding pleasure of being fed upon by Alex. He’d become obsessed with it, always craving the sharp bite of his husband's teeth on his neck. A growing fantasy was taking root in his mind, one where Alex confidently took him and feed without invitation. Henry wanted to know what it felt like to be kept by his vampire. But Alex was so kind and sweet, and taking blood without permission was taboo among vampires. Could Henry convince Alex to explore his fantasy?

Meanwhile, Ellen comes for a visit and the coven hosts a soirée. Henry learns a vampire’s life is not without risk or violence. He hasn’t tried to murder anyone since falling in love with Alex, but he’s still fascinated with the macabre. It may come in handy, in the end.

VAMPIRE ALEX IS LIVE Y'ALL!

First order of business is to thank my tumblr friends for hyping me the FUCK up to write this thing!! This is the longest fic I've ever written & probably ever will write. The idea originally came from @nicholastitties on tumblr and I completely spiraled and ran with it. My MUSES as always were Alex @redlipstickandglitter, and Dani @mossy-fae. Without these two yapping with me and listening to me be insecure about my writing every other second, it probably never would have gotten finished! If you left me comments of words/phrases to try to integrate a couple weeks ago on tumblr, they are all in here! So happy word hunting! And finally, this story can be explained by two very simple concepts. Henry is far too trusting of a man who could literally kill him, and Alex is not sure what to do with someone so willing to potentially be killed by him.

*DISCLAIMER: a lot of the vampire lore/activity in this fic is based on Interview With The Vampire, that's just what I'm most familiar with at this point

okay youre cooking.... vampire skin so pale and ashen, alexs practically transparent in some places, you can see that sluggish, dead blood trapped in his veins through his skin in all its dark, tinted glory. leaving hickies all over his throat and chest and neck, and fuck when they start bruising, the color is GRUESOME. grey blue purple black. tinging green yellow on the edges the more it sits. like the bruises you see on corpses that were beaten to death. of course he fucking loves it though, any reminder of the semblance of life left in his body makes him happy, as well as the reminder of his lovers mouth all over him <3 lets go bite some vampires
