Spent yesterday talking @ahsokaisawesome‘s ear off about an Avengers Assemble vampire Steve AU
So like...been thinking about Vampire Dames so OBVIOUSLY I had to go back and finish at least the roughs for a snippet of fic I LOVED from @lostcybertronian uwu Their take on vamp!Dames is just so *chef kiss* I needed to draw this portion owo (I’ll be rbing the fic after this posts ;3c go check it out!!)
Ah, yes - the three genders: ladies, gentlemen and Tzimisce
Fic: The Dead of Night
AU-gust Day Fourteen: Vampire AU Fandom: Stargate Universe Pairing: Nicholas Rush x Gloria Rush
Rated: T
Content Warning: Blood, vampirism, cancer mention.
Summary: Nick reflects on his and Gloria’s lives since she became a vampire to save her life.
Note: This uses the vampire mythos from the short-lived TV series Moonlight.
The Dead of Night
Nick waited until the last vestiges of sunlight had vanished beyond the horizon before closing the curtains and switching on the lights. He wasn’t surprised at how quickly he had made the transition to nocturnal activity; he’d never been one for consistent sleep patterns at the best of times, and Gloria’s long illness had just exacerbated that. Now it simply made sense for him to be awake when she was awake.
He made the ten-step journey down into the cellar, listening to the comforting hum of the chest freezer. His breath curled into mist as he opened it, and he had to smile at the sight that met him. One would have expected vampires to sleep ramrod straight with their arms crossed over their chests like in classic Hammer horror movies, but Gloria was curled up in the foetal position with one arm flung over her face just like she’d slept when she was alive.
Nick shook himself. Gloria was alive. Not in the same way as previously, perhaps, but alive, nonetheless.
“That was rude,” Cassie says, curled up on April’s couch with the blood bag she fell asleep drinking like a juice box. If anything, she looks bored.

Written for the @a-monthly-rumbelling prompt: Bumping into each other - literally.
Please note: This was written for the non-smut prompt but does contain smut.
CW: Vampires

Unlit
Gold had always preferred to stick to cities throughout his long life. There were so many more people there that it was easier to blend in, and they made for easier hunting grounds. There was always fresh blood in a city, and no one would notice one person missing. Out in the countryside it was harder to go unnoticed, and harder to cover his tracks.
All the same, he had been born in the country and he had spent most of his mortal life there. He missed the green sometimes, and it was for that reason that he would occasionally indulge himself with a hunt in a park. Cities generally did well at maintaining their green spaces, a little patch of nature in the middle of the concrete jungle, although what good it did to counteract the fog of fumes from the traffic that could still be heard beyond the trees was debatable.
These fangs are for @medicuslilium only...
(( PLOTTED || @kitxkatrp said: [ Stark was no stranger to Japan. He had been here many times in fact. Vampires loved places where there were a lot of people--and Japan had a lot of people. If his sources were correct, the vampire he was seeking should be here somewhere--
Speaking of which--
He saw a shadow out of the corner of his eye. Eyes narrowing, he darted off in the direction he'd seen it, fingers ready to reach for his weapon quickly once he was out of sight of the crowd. While he could get out of trouble with the government if he needed to, it would waste too much time.
He rounded the corner just in time to see what could only be a thirsty rogue vampire lunging at the neck of a startled boy.
"Get down!" He shouted--with the boy in the way, his shotgun wasn't an option, but shooting an arrow right through the spinal cord still was. And his hit--true to his nickname--landed true, the vampire screeching in agony as it turned to ash before it could reach the boy.
That had been way too close.
★ ━━━━━━ Ritsuka was no stranger to wandering at night, though he was a minor. His Mother didn't even know that he'd sneak out of his room just to get away and think. Jacket pulled around his body it was chilly outside and his tail stayed close to his body as he moved.
He hadn't any idea he was being watched or followed, but felt someone, or something nearby and began running. Ritsuka was soon chased, and grew scared that his life was in danger. Soubi wasn't around, and he had left his cell phone in his room, so he was out alone.
The hair on the back of his neck stood up and his tail bristled as he tried to catch his breath. "!!!!" Ritsuka screamed as he saw the Vampire coming for him and froze a little. Hearing a voice, he looked over, ears perked toward it and noticed someone holding a crossbow.
Ducking down he put hands over his head as his bag hit the ground. How long would he have to wait? Hearing the twang of an arrow being fired he stayed still, eyes closed, not wanting to look and see the aftermath.
