Speaking of vampires I just finished interview with the vampire tv series and omg I say there through season 2 waiting for lestat I'm sorry but I hated armand I wanted to fist fight him the entire time I sat there yelling at the screen for Louie to go back to lestat like go to your boyfriend already you miss him he is your husband loui
... Also the arguments in this show are peak like they're unnecessarily funny I need season 3 immediately I'm so excited to see who they cast as akasha

Recommend me vampire tv shows
It's been pretty easy to find recs for vampire movies, but I'd love recs for vampire TV Shows or anime.
Have watched and enjoyed:
WWDITS, BTVS (well some of it), Interview with the Vampire, Castlevania, Hellsing Ultimate (I liked Abridged more), Jojo (Dio and the Pillarmen both count) Have watched and didn't like:
The Strain (too much bug/body horror), Vampire Knight Anime, Dracula (2020) - I’m not gonna waste my time watching Moffat and Gatiss do another bad adaptation, Young Dracula (I'm too old for this show), Dark Shadows, Vampire Diaries (i tried 2 episodes during 2020 and Jenny Nicholson's video essay is much more enjoyable)
Have been recommended so far:
Ultraviolet, Moonlight (i watched it when it aired but it was so long ago), Kindred: the Embraced, Forever Knight, True Blood, Vampire Hunter D, Dracula the Series

There’s apparently a rumor that the MCU Blade movie/series is going to be a period piece set in either the 1920s or 1930s. I love this idea so much because:
1) It fits with the comics since Blade has been around since the 1920s.
2) Another period piece! And it’s two decades that haven’t really been explored by superhero media.
3) We can get a callback to the Marvel Noir stuff (you probably know about this stuff through Spider-Man Noir)
4) It’s a great way to highlight the fact that the series is centered on vampires. Eric’s been killing vampires since the Great Depression and he hasn’t aged a day since he’s part-vampire.
5) His meeting with Dane Whitman is made even more significant due to their massive age gaps and the fact that Dane is working with another immortal character.
6) Going back to point 2, if the decade turns out to be the 1920s, think of all the Roaring Twenties stuff that the movie/series can explore. Flappers, jazz music, Harlem Renaissance, speakeasies, etc.. On a more sadistic note, maybe we can get some scenes of Blade killing white supremacist vampires.
7) Since the MCU is known for mixing genres, we can potentially add a new genre to the mix; film noir/hardboiled detective (due to the 1920s/1930s setting).
