Vanguards: Family Reunion

Intel on a remote Cerberus research lab leads Lt. Alric Stone and other members of the Special Ops Fleet to a horrifying discovery that would more than ensure the victory of the Reapers. Things become even more tense when people notice the head researcher, Dr. Nicoli Petra, bears more than a passing resemblance to Alric. The young Vanguard is forced to tread upon old memories and emotions he'd had rather had been kept locked away.

But, yeah... it would cover key events in Alric's childhood, as well as let you see how much of a Grade-A douchewad his father is.
