But it's for Autism Awareness Month and it's just me trying to get you to play Final Fantasy VIII
Bucky: *locking his meds in a little box, putting it into a bigger box and then digging a hole in the backyard to put it in*
Sam: ...do I even want to know why you’re doing that?
Bucky: it’s mental health awareness month, sam.
Sam: ...
Bucky: :| Y’all are about to be VERY, very aware.
The difference between Clark Kent and Superman is himboification. I’ll explain.
When Kal El puts on the glasses, he’s not just donning a facial disguise, he adapts a sheepish, friendly personality. There are three pillars on which himboism stands: Kind, Dumb, and Ripped as Hell. A person can be in possession of two at a time and yet not be a himbo, it’s only when all three are present that the title can be awarded.
Thus, Superman is Not a Himbo. He’s Kind, sure:
And he’s Ripped As Hell (for Earth):
But he’s clever. He understands coded signals from Batman, he wears a veneer of confidence in every situation, and although he rushes in, he also listens to reason. You could even argue that his headstrong determination that he’s the right man for the job is his greatest flaw; he doesn’t trust anybody else to take a hit. He has to be at the front of the fight, because he knows that whatever happens, he’ll be hurt the least.
However, when he becomes Clark Kent, he appears to remove his spine. No longer does he exude confidence and capability. Rather, he becomes skittish. As a part of this skittishness, he adopts a blithe naiveté. Oh Gee Lois! That criminal scheme I reported on yesterday got busted by ol’ Supes? Whatare the odds of that? He’s just some backwater kid from Smallville Kansas.
To the outside viewer, Mr. Kent has his heart in the right place, but he couldn’t hurt a fly. This is the real reason his disguise works: Superman is a phenomenal actor who understands that in order to remain concealed in plain sight, he has to change the energy he radiates.
So that’s Clark. Kind. Dumb. Coincidentally Ripped as Hell.
I didn’t sleep until 3:30 last night, so naturally I’m cranky and am barely keeping myself from suggesting murder as a solution to every inconvenience, perceived or fabricated.

Earlier today Patrick asked me when we’d have a chance to see Dance actually dancing, and I’m pretty sure they are not the only one with that question. Calm down, we’ve literally just started. If at the moment you are craving some of #BestBoy then here you go! Enjoy this small doodles
I got an alarm on my phone that tells me when to go to sleep so I can get the "normal" amount of sleep that I should be getting, I kinda just use it to gauge how I should be asleep in like three hours and that'll be fine
