february has been shit. i’ve been feeling so down and hopeless since this month started

everything is scary and it all seems so hopeless. or even what is the point? after death will there be a place for me? more importantly, where i can be with the people i love?

feels like the world keeps getting worse, or at least that all the bad things are louder. is coronavirus going to just wipe us out? probably not, but it’s still scary...i dont want to die.

And then politics. i have even less faith in the government than i already had. trump is probably going to get re-elected somehow and then it’s really just ending..as much as so many people want someone else, want change in this country, change in the world, the rich and powerful seem to win. to be louder, more influential, more strings they can pull. and what of my tiny existence? what of the future of this planet? what of the safety of future generations? there is no remorse. no compassion. we fight harder than they ever will and where does it get us? our road is long and hard and they don’t care at all.

i try to pray to God for help, peace, quietude, some sense in this all...but i still feel hopeless
