I fought Clip Studio Paint thrice in the parking lot and won.

Decided to draw out important DMC characters for my own amusement so I started off with the family that started it all (before disaster struck).

Redesigned Sparda’s two forms because I couldn’t make sense of the original designs lol

Also figured that making Sparda’s human form more blue focused with silver metals and Sparda’s devil form more red focused with gold metals was a fun way to tie him to his sons. (As well as introduce some dramatic irony)

I’ll be back with characters from the first novel some time later!

Slapped this out real quick as an apology for breaking ppl’s hearts. Imagining THEE Sparda being a first time dad of twins makes me laugh so. And to make myself feel better, I imagine that Eva took a lot of pictures of their family and that some survived the fire.

Finished reading the first DMC novel and had to draw out my feelings on it. I’m of course taking some liberties here with how events unfolded. Biggest one might be the amulet. I’m a subscriber of the headcanon that Vergil painted his gold to differentiate his from Dante’s, so Gilver and Mundus of course wouldn’t think to do that…hence the silver chain. Also made the gem a more purple color just for fun since it was originally Sparda’s.

Perhaps it’s a problem how often I draw a sad Dante…
