normal tommy escapes exile-type fanfic. he begins gathering an arsenal of weapons and animals: he breeds dogs, uses axolotls to kill all of the fish in l’manburg (one of their main exports),  grinds for hours on end to gather hundreds of wither skulls and hundreds of bags of soul sand, sews himself new and even more beautiful clothes, makes new powerful weapons, begins trading with the villagers in the nearby town, changes his whole demeanor, learns the magic of life (think reviving humans, growing plants, creating new life at a single touch). once he’s content with his arsenal, new look, and new personality, he begins subtly reigning hell on l’manburg. recruits citizens to give him inside information, damages their relationships with other countries, and damages them so much that when he unleashes the withers and his army of wolves, the only people that are affected by it are tubbo and quackity. everyone else is gone. it is just tommy and tubbo, face to face, at the end, and that is when tommy gives tubbo a single ultimatum: die by tommy’s hand, or on his own terms. tubbo chooses to go out on his own terms.

i just think tommy deserves a villain arc. a really intense villain arc.

Villaininnit AU (here's some lil tidbits)

• Basically an AU where Tommy actually became the villain

• The big bad isn't someone like Dream (unironically) or Techno, it's just some traumatized kid who caved into his depression and PTSD

• His theme song is Other Friends

• His eyes are red (because I headcanon Vilbur's eyes being red).

• Hair long af

• When Tommy and Tubbo confront each other, Tommy almost takes Tubbo's last life but he stopped when he realized that he was about to kill him

• Tommy definantly came out of exile

• Tommy is jealous of New L'manburg's cabinet (Ranboo, Quackity and Fundy), he thinks that they took away Tubbo from him

• Tommy is quite aware that he's going through a villain arc, and he likes it

• Dream is genuinely scared of the kid, so he teams up with Techno and Phil to take him down one day

• Tommy is well equipped. He grinded for some Netherite armour and weapons, a crap ton of potions and other things; he stole a few things from L'mamburg

• Just like Wilbur, Tommy isn't afraid to blow up L'mamburg

• "Don't you see, Tubbo? I'm the villain! And you're the hero! This.....is perfect."

• "Tommy, you've lost your mind! You're becoming the next Wilbur!"

• A part of Tommy never wanted to be the villain. He didn't want to hurt his bestfriend or anyone around him. He just wanted everyone to be safe and his discs back

• Phil and Techno had a confrontation with Tommy to figure out why's he doing all of this. There's was a lot of arguing and it ended with violence. Phil got hurt in the process

• Ranboo is afraid to play both sides. On one hand, he has to be reluctantly agreeing on Tommy's malicious ideas. And on the other hand, he wants to help Tubbo quell Tommy. He just wants to help the both of them to get through their problems

• This is the only time Dream actually goes into in hiding. As said before, he's afraid of the kid

• Tommy hallucinates full body apparitions of Wilbur saying, "Let's be the bad guys" instead of hearing that line echoing in his head. He has panic attacks when he hallucinates, accidentally hurting himself in the process

• Tommy definitely wears Wilbur's trenchcoat

• Every night, Tubbo cries about his long lost bestfriend and his descent into madness. He blames himself for what he did to him. If never listened to Dream......maybe if he tried a bit harder......

• Everyone on the SMP is quite concerned about the current situation, so they came together to work something out

• Tommy prefers to be called Villaininnit (Techno clowns on the name, calling it lame)

for villaininnit, in this au, tommy’s stars are permanently black. it signifies the loss of himself, or the downward spiral of his mental health. the only time they flash in color like they used to, is if it’s red in anger, or if he’s with dream.
