Sometimes, everything looks weird, but I can't put my finger on it. Here is a picture.

Today I learned that the thing that gave me an existential crisis at the age of 10,

Has a name!

It’s called “visual snow” or “static vision.”

Luckily it isn’t actually that hard to show… though there’s also a bunch of different types of it.

I kid you not, my 10 yr self thought that this meant that everything was a simulation.

No, it’s just my vision being fucky

Mines is MUCH more toned down than it can be, and only really shows up in the dark.

FUN THING THO, BECAUSE MINE IS COLORED, I CAN JSE IT TO ACCURATELY MAKE COLORS!

The CSI-style flying blood drops in the initial bone-saw scene just look kind of corny to me, but the way Will’s vision progressively distorts when they pick it up in the next episode….

Fucking terrifying.
