Okay they didn't have time to see me today, because it's Monday and it's the worst day. We are so busy both in the ER and on Gyn. However I got an "official appointment" on Thursday. It's both mine and my boyfriends day of. I'm really glad that he can come to. I'll be 6+6 then. So hopefully they'll be able to see something.

Now that I’m finished with my training classes, maybe I’ll look into a degree..... BOL!!! We also just finished #w6d3 of the #c25kchallenge !! W6D3 - Vesta Cave

Until I feel like I can take a breather, I will keep these short. Which may be never.

Today, we did jQuery on top of CSS. jQuery handled a lot of different aspects of CSS for us, and we got to build Tic Tac Toe and Towers of Hanoi. My partner and I seemed to get along well, and I think we were on similar levels in terms of what we wanted to do with the project, how much creative energy we were willing to extend, and just switching off pairs.

Leen helped me fix the currying specs on my SHSL Practice Assessment! They weren't working after all, but she helped me figure out what was wrong with it.

I also learned we have THREE more assessments, not two. Another reason to take less breathers and make sure I get through all this.

However, I do feel like I'm enjoying the creative aspects/precise tweaking a lot, since I am art inspired. I wonder if that means I prefer front end to back end?

Today I Learned: how to use jQuery

We began the day by taking a practice JavaScript assessment. After the assessment, we had lecture.

During lecture, we began by reviewing yesterday's in-class CSS project. After review, we had a Q&A regarding jQuery and the Wacky painter jQuery homework exercise from last night. jQuery is library that builds on top of the DOM.

We got to play with this library today while working on the day's projects: Tic-Tac-Toe and Towers-of-Hanoi. My partner and I had to refer to the jQuery documentation a lot as we are both learning what jQuery can do for us. We combined our CSS knowledge with jQuery knowledge today.

We also had practice reviewing the code/logic we are given to use to create the View for the browser games. Today was a fun day, making the Tic-Tac-Toe game work was fun!
