A summer when everything was okay

and this is how it all started :D a friend of mine ran a Mothership game for us and I had some character sheets left, so i tore one up into bits that i felt match the characters. You can zoom it to read the characterstics :) mixed media is fun. i also filled the background with different summery things and hobbies. Thought El would like to learn how to play a guitar

He brushed the length of his tail against Gideons arm, who without thinking reached out to catch it, letting it slide through his hand.

A glint of the gently rising moon caught the water droplets clinging to Kremy’s scales as he surfaced.

“Somethin’ catch your eye, Gid?” Kremy’s voice was light, but there was a hint of curiosity beneath it.

“Tryin’ to keep my eye on you, wouldn’t wanna be caught unawares by an apex predator,” Gideon replied, though the words sounded flimsy even to his own ears. They were close now, Kremy treading water backwards slightly, able to go about the same speed as Gideons uncoordinated progress.

Something shifted between them, and Gideon paused. They were closer than they would normally be, except on cold nights. Silence stretched, not uncomfortable, but there was a tension.
