my main prediction for twow is that walder frey is going to die peacefully in his sleep at one million evil years old and not feel guilty about any of that stuff ever. and then all the various frey lines are going to start killing each other which he also wouldnt care about

Just to underscore how bad Catelyn's deal with Walder Frey to marry off Arya Stark to the 22nd bastard Frey son was, just look at Tywin's deal with Walder -

When Tyrion had no reply to that, his father continued. “The price was cheap by any measure. The crown shall grant Riverrun to Ser Emmon Frey once the Blackfish yields. Lancel and Daven must marry Frey girls, Joy is to wed one of Lord Walder’s natural sons when she’s old enough, and Roose Bolton becomes Warden of the North and takes home Arya Stark.”

As part of the deal made with the Freys, which Tywin labels cheap, we have Gerion's 10 year old bastard daughter Joy HILL marry one of Walder's natural sons.

The age is important because it provides us the comparison of Catelyn throwing away 10 year old Arya Stark on a marriage with a 22nd possibly bastard child of Walder's with no lands simply to sweeten a deal where Warden of the North/possible KITN Robb was already promised in marriage to a Frey daughter. Robb Stark is the most valuable player on the board in Westeros at that point so why even go there with Arya?

Catelyn's deal - Warden of the North Robb Stark marries Walder's daughter and Arya Stark marries a 22d bastard son.

Tywin's deal - Lancel/Daven marry Frey girls, Joy Hill marries one of Walder's natural sons.

When ADwD shows us how important Arya Stark is to hold the North for the Lannisters/Boltons, I still can't wrap my head around why Catelyn did what she did with respect to Arya. And I hate what it tells us about her relationship with Arya (Remember, she bypassed Sansa when trading in Arya to the Freys for the bridge) when Ned was aiming as high as a king for Arya, as a daughter of Winterfell.
