okay so flashback

to the start (ish) of the yar

my grade was outside playing a

GAMEEEE guitar solo

they were kicking a ball

against the fucking wall

and running back before they got hit!

but teenagers have a lot of energy

if you give them caffeine and sugar

so they started kicking higher (that rhymes with sugar)

and balls were going on the roof of the school!!

DAILYYYY!!!

so, fast forward, we've gotten in trouble

we got too many balls on the roof. bubble

and the teachers are mad but we don't stop!

because nothing will ever make us drop

the habit of playing WALL BALL!!!

but every day there are balls on the roof

at some point some kid lost a shoe

i'm not sure if they're the school's balls or not

but we are NOt fireproof.

but we keep playing and now it's april

and my girlfriend sees me after study hall

she tells me "oh damn ive got some bad news"

we are officially banned from wall. ball"

and i reply "what the fuck!"

and she says "yeah so we caused a gas leak"

but that doesn't stop us

and now im not sure whats happening

3/23/17 - WOD

Thursday seems to be cardio hell day. Today's workout was brutal. At the end I felt like I did terrible, but I somehow managed to complete 29/32 rounds. The WOD was an EMOM, which means we switch what we're doing every minute on the minute. I rotated through sets of: - Air Biking for 6 calories - 8 KB swings @ 12kg - 8 Wall Balls @ 6lb - 8 sit ups The amount of reps we needed to do increased every two rounds. By the end it was up to 12 bike calories and 14 reps of the other movements. I made it through all the wall balls and sit ups, but couldn't finish the last 2 rounds of biking or my last set of KB swings. 6lb wall balls are definitely too light for me, but I need to work on getting my hips lower before I move up. I still fall forward and don't get low enough. This falls under the umbrella of improving my squats. Once I can get better depth in my squat, I'll be able to increase my wall ball weight. I noticed I'm getting close to overhead with my 12 kg kb swings. I can definitely go way over eye level once I am warmed up. Once today I lost control and over extended with the bell, but fortunately didn't hurt my back. After that, I decided to stick to eye level swings for my own safety. My last round of KB swings was a flop. I got a cramp in my side after biking and by the time it subsided I only could get out 4 swings.
