Description:

Arle yo-yos her boyfriend, Harpy is anti-good at singing, Lagnus roleplays, Ess is a popular girl, Rafisol wants not to be a slave to her instinct, Schezo’s mere presence scares every student, Sig’s there and at any moment danger might lurk around the corner. The School’s staff pray you’ll be quick on the draw and adapt. The Authors present to you the mostly magic deprived Primp High School.

This AU will shift focus on over the course of this fic. We definite main characters though.

We have very little in the ways of OCs, only when we felt it was a necessity, and don’t expect them to play an active main role. Includes a handful of Puyo Puyo Quest characters, some non-names characters (like Demon Servant/Demiserf) given real names, and a nameless supporting Madou Monogatari character given a name.

For the ship ask, what was your first ship, and what fandom is it from?

Please don’t laugh but–

My first ship was when I was a child, I loved the idea of Yoshi and Birdo being a couple! I loved Birdo in Mario Advance (she’s my favorite Mario character tops), and I liked Yoshi, and I wondered “what if these two dinosaur characters met?” .v.

The spin-off games answered my question! 

It started with Mario Tennis 64 I know, but it got pushed into further spin-off games like Double Dash (which made me squeal when I was a little girl!), Mario Baseball, and Mario Party 7! I absolutely love these two even now!! 

It was nice to see that Birdo could move on from her past rivalry against Mario and co., away from Wart, and started having a sweet relationship. Yoshi seems to genuinely like Birdo as she is too (unlike Popple from Superstar Saga, who was just kinda cruel to her), so it’s perfect.

I’m finally done combing typos for this thing. I’m sure they’re still some, but now it’s more presentable. This is probably my most notable contribution to any fanbase.

In the Grasp of the Doppelganger by @warelander was a fic about Doppel (based on outdated knowledge of her) trying to replace Arle is Sig’s heart.

Silvana, From Clone to Clown [Act 1, 2. Coming sometime: Act 3] by me is the continuation. Based on me asking warelander if he could continue it. End the result was me asking: “Can... I tryyyyyyyy?” For some reason, he said yes to this random nobody with no credentials.

I’ve gone overboard!

I just had gotten into Puyo Puyo at that point thanks to PPT. I researched the series as much as I could so I could get things right. Resulting in 40+ chapters and counting. And generally speaking people like this thing.

This was my first stab writing again. I was never happy with my previous stuff (not sharing), I was surprised it was this well received after such a break. But by then I knew the fundamentals of basic storytelling and logic.

Act 3: Comes at some point. I wanna clean up other things and post them on Tumblr. And write whatever I want too.

Thank you warelander, sorry for bothering you every day... Bask vicariously all the glory all you want.

Doppelganger Arle is determined to take the real Arle's place as Sig's friend, while he attempts to reason with her.

Now more in line with the canon according to the "Shin Madou Timeline".

The reasons this is noted in the author’s notes. But it’s a gift for @warelander . Part of his Puyo Ficverse. This version is canon it is now opposed to the original which spawned Silvana, From Clone to Clown.

If I may erect my spine a bit without being mean. Ware, I get it. I won’t force you. I may not be as big a fan of them as I let on. But I would like if you continued with them.

Anyway: I changed 3 things in addition to combing out typos. 1: The cover art! Traced from two sources, both official art of Pierrot and Sig. Ware, feel free to use it for the original if you want. 2: One thing that I didn’t take into account originally is that. While we know exactly what went on with the Madou timeline, Doppel may not know. She’s a victim of it. She may not entirely know, that Arle is part of her soul. So I added a handwave: “If Satan is to be believed.” 3: Changed the line: “and be a friend…” to: “and be a new friend...”

Headcanon ask: The Test Body from PC98 Madou 2

Pffft, this will be a fun one!

Test Body is actually a creation of Rune Lord’s, dating back to hundreds of years ago. So he wasn’t a human at all. Since many of Rune Lord’s powers were given to Schezo, he pretty much gained the ability to create Test Body.

If Schezo ever needed to leave the Dark Labyrinth, Test Body willingly lets him pass. He is very obedient to Schezo (and Rune Lord by that extent). Since he can’t move much, Test Body tries to make a small opening for his master to pass. His left leg showing a bit of muscle is probably the aftermath of trying to move.

He does in fact, devour the remains of prisoners Schezo takes away. Once they have their power sucked, and nothing but a dried corpse is left in the cell, Schezo pretty much tosses the remains to the Test Body. (I know that’s a pic from the GameGear version, but the point stands)

Test Body loves his masters! If anything happened to them, he gets very upset. With Rune Lord, he was okay because Schezo took on most of his power, but when Arle decapitated Schezo, he became very hostile.

Test Body is actually not a very hostile creature, unless you are a prisoner that is trying to escape. If someone is friends with Schezo or Rune Lord, then he won’t attack them. In fact, he can be rather docile, contrary to his monstrous appearance. He doesn’t mind the presence of Lynx in particular, or the two guards Schezo made look after Arle’s cell.
