#Weyogaforlife Challenge Day 6 - Warrior I & Warrior II, two of my favorite moves.
Warrior I, Virabhadrasana for #elementsofasana so many things at work in this pose, it's always more challenging than it seems and that is why I love it. Heel to heel alignment. Always cutting my arms off in photos 😋.
Day 11 of the #FG365YOGA Challenge is Warrior I.
This is a very basic pose, but there really is a lot going on in it, and if done properly can be very challenging. Take a look at this video which breaks down the various parts of the pose, from foot placement to squaring the hips and what to do with your arms.
I had a weekend full of sitting in freezing auditoriums and sitting in horrible chairs, so I did some hip openers this afternoon and I feel 400% better about life.

I always feel so graceful in my warrior poses. Mentally, and physically they feel so strong and calming, yet still keeping the challenge of balancing and holding the posture.
