Had a great foggy run this morning. I was a bit sluggish due to Stouts and a lot of food but I surprisingly managed to run a 7.30 pace for 10 miles. The other day I took my friend Dana to check out a new trail I found. It’s not that long and it’s meant for mountain bikes but it’s a fun course to run. The sun soon came out and I was over dressed but luckily I had my @hammernutrition Heed and Gels to replace fluids and fuel my hot humid run. After the run comes the reward. Today's run included hiking and climbing. I'm stiff from yesterday so today was a struggle. Took a tumble on what may have been the worlds smallest root but for the purpose of this story, it was a huge root I mean log! My watch went flying off my wrist. Luckily I think the @garmin 5x is supposed to. It clipped back together. My wearsafe clip stayed on too. I thought for sure that would have gone flying off my race vest...but NO! It held on tight.
