I have made #shaksuka hundreds of times. It's a staple in my house for an easy weeknight dinner. A standard shaksuka usually starts with a tomato base, and then you crack a few eggs into it and stick it in the oven to finish cooking. I've also made the base sauce with red peppers, spinach and even kale. But this is the first time I've made it with potatoes! This is basically #breakfastfordinner. Start with a potato hash, into which I added some onion and asparagus I had on hand. Cracked a few eggs, sprinkled with some cheddar cheese and popped it in the oven! . . . #paolothinksaboutfood #dinner #vegetarianrecipe #weekdaydinner #delicious #eggsfordinner (at Toronto, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCmbIfegMQZ/?igshid=1ed0ucktgf7mp

A flavorful and aromatic Hunan-style beef stir-fry with the bold and earthy flavors of cumin. This quick and easy recipe is perfect for a satisfying weeknight dinner.
Ingredients: 1 lb 450g beef sirloin, thinly sliced. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 2 teaspoons cumin seeds. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1 red bell pepper, sliced. 1 green bell pepper, sliced. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 1 tablespoon oyster sauce. 1 teaspoon sugar. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 cup water. 2 green onions, chopped.
Instructions: Combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Put aside. In a wok or sizable skillet, heat the vegetable oil over high heat. Stir-fry the cumin seeds for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Add the beef slices and minced garlic. Stir-fry the beef for two to three minutes, or until it is well cooked and browned. Take out of the wok and place aside. Add a little extra oil to the same wok, if necessary, and then add the bell peppers and onions, cut into slices. Cook for two to three minutes, or until they begin to soften. Place the cooked beef back into the wok and cover the contents with the sauce mixture. Stir-fry for an additional two minutes to ensure that everything is evenly coated with sauce. Stir-fry for a further two to three minutes after adding the water, or until the sauce slightly thickens and everything is well combined. If needed, adjust the seasoning by tasting it. If preferred, you can increase the soy sauce or salt. After removing from the heat, top with chopped green onions. Serve hot with noodles or steamed rice. Savor your stir-fried Hunan beef with cumin!

The All-Beef Burger is a classic American dish. It has a juicy all-beef patty, fresh vegetables, melted cheese, and a tasty special sauce on top. It's great for a barbecue in the backyard or dinner during the week.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of American cheese. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup chopped onions. 1/4 cup sliced pickles. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices.
Instructions: Preheat grill or stovetop griddle to medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper on both sides. Place the burger patties on the grill or griddle and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of American cheese to each patty and allow it to melt. While the burgers are cooking, split the hamburger buns and toast them on the grill until they're lightly browned. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and ketchup to create a special sauce. Assemble your burgers: Spread the special sauce on the bottom bun, place a lettuce leaf on top, followed by the burger patty with melted cheese. Add a slice of tomato, some chopped onions, and sliced pickles. Top with the other half of the bun and serve hot.
