About 4 1/2 years and close to 35 pounds difference between these two photos. It’s amazing how being surrounded by the right support and people can change things. It wasn’t until last year, meeting @thebabydrake, all of the people at @westcagym & @cyclebar_losgatos, that my perspective and ideas about health shifted in such a way that made change seem attainable and possible. Basically I feel lucky as f*ck to be where I’m at now. #tbt 😍♥️🔥 No words can express the feeling of being on that stage. So many days working hard to achieve the best physique possible. A lot of people think is all about the beauty and getting dolled up, but I think it has a lot more to do with being consistently at your best, other than just that. Many don't even know what goes behind it all, training nearly everyday, cardio 2x a day, fasted and post with sprints. Eating restricted for 12 weeks...not to add all the details that goes with it, supplementation you cant forget times, water intake, the list just adds up! Not to mention when you are exhausted but still have to get it done, I meant, obviously if you wanted bad! As bad as crying while finishing your cardio, yup I lost count how many times I cried while doing my cardio. It just reminds me this isn't for everyone, but it's for me. And even tho I cry and I get exhausted at times, there isn't anything in life that fulfills my heart and my my soul shine from working as much as competing does. One thing I've been really working on the past 3 months, and something that continues to be an ongoing work in progress, is self love and care, of all forms. In the past few months a number of inspirational women have come into my life; women who truly model the growth I'm trying to achieve. I'm grateful for all of the women I know who have so openly embraced their own paths and are working on themselves every day, and sharing their victories and struggles.
