Good morning Cardio✌️️😉

No sugar day 17
Proud to say I made it to the day 17!
That means I haven’t eaten any processed sugar ( cakes, cookies, pies, sweetened tea, coffee...) for 17 days! The first week was a struggle, I was shaking like a freaking addict. Well that makes sense, because I am :D In the second and third week my wish for sugar was fading away, more with every day.
I feel clean, less bloated and less confused. For real! Anyway, I’m not craving at the moment (because the last post I made said that I’ll only be writing when craving), but because I’m actually proud of myself. People around me are baking all the crazy stuff, I’ve been working on events with food, where they even served pancakes (PANCAKES FOR GODS SAKE, MY FAVORITE FOOD) and I haven’t touched them. So yeah, 17:0 for me!
I’m really sad because I had a minor surgery on Monday (again) and I’m not able to workout for at least a week or two :( I bet results would be 30-50% better after 30 DAY NO SUGAR CHALLENGE, if I could workout as I normally do, damn, But you know, health first. Plus, I’m repeating the challenge again until 1.5. and I believe I’ll have plenty of time to work my ass off :D
I’m glad that I still have enough motivation and self control to say no to sugar. I was able to in the past, but after 2 years of on and off motivation, I wasn’t so sure I have it in me anymore.
In April, 10.4. to be exact, I’m running at Istrski marathon (Slovenia’s seaside) 11,5 km. I’m nervous and excited at the same time. I know I’m not in the best running shape at the moment, but just the feeling of running is overwhelming.
p.s. Still planning on having Six pack till summer!
Stay fit ;)
No sugar for a month!
So, recently I turned 22. I don’t know if it’s a good or a bad thing that your friends know you’re a super SWEET TOOTH. I got so many cakes, chocolates, cookies and other sweets that I almost puked at the end of the week, just seeing something with sugar. As you can see on the picture below, my birthday cake was a chocolate bomb.
We had to eat cake and popcakes for lunch, cause otherwise it would all go to waste. Look at this crazy pop cakes! Plus, in my favorite color <3
Anyway, after a week of extreme indulging and months of not very healthy eating, my friend Manca and I decided to say no to sugar for a month. I thought it would be a piece of cake, since I ate so much in the past week, but it’s quite the opposite. My body is craving sugar so much that I’m giving myself mental knockouts :D I’m looking at the chocolate I got for a present and 99% of my brain is telling me FUCK THIS, EAT IT and the sane 1% is telling me not to, cause you promised NO SUGAR UNTIL 21.3.2016. Quite a war, I’d say. Today is the 6th day of winning, fuck yeah!! :D
I decided to write a post about this because there are three ways that help me fight a craving: 1) Go to the stables to see my horse 2) Drink water 3) Writing about it
So, I already went to the stables, drank plenty of water and writing is the only thing left. It helps to go to the gym as well, but after my training the sugar craving strikes again, so yeah.
The closest I get to sugar right now is either watching it in the kitchen cupboard or online. You want to know what I’m enjoying? Okay, I’ll share it with you... This (mother of god) pancakes :O
In case you were wondering what will happen after 21.3.2016... The plan is this: Go for a frozen yogurt with Manca, with the best dark & white chocolate and then keep it clean unitl 1.5.2016. Great plan huh? I hope the cookies and chocolates in our cupboard disappear, but not in my tummy!
Talk to you at my next craving ;) (Guess I’ll see you soon).
Stay fit!
Training partner
I can’t tell you how great it is to have a training partner. Since Anja came back from Sardinia we’ve been training a lot together and it’s the best!!! You have someone by your side, knowing exactly how you feel, how you struggle, give each other motivation and encouragement. If you have a friend, invite him/her to train with you sometimes, you’ll see for yourself how fun it is.
Today we did Anja’s ( myvegrace ) core workout and it was not easy at all. We did so many different ab crunches and core exercises I wasn’t able to plank for the whole minute anymore at the end. Burned burned burned muscles. I love it, I’m sure I’ll do it again.
(the light in the back is actually moon!!!!)
In the meanwhile, we had our business “meeting” talking through stuff for opening our own brand of Group guided training Body365. We have lot’s of work and never enough time to decide about everything. So combining it with our workout is quite a convenient way for us.
Stay fit! :)
