This fic took forever.

As stated in the notes of the work itself, this fic was created in association with the FromSoft Creator's Guild Discord server, for their May Flowers event. (technically, the wording should be made for and not in association but fuck it, I want to sound fancy, do you know how little I have eaten and slept over this). This is also part of Here Before, just much later in the storyline where there is obviously Mutual Feelings between them but dumb things like "what if I'm the monster" and "ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves" get in the way of them getting together (haha epic reference). It's also something that will be explored and described some day, but needless to say, this is also coming out of a perspective where Malenia's Embrace was horrifying, and after escaping, she was kind of left to figure out most of it on her own, which really doesn't help you not be traumatized. So, that'll be fun for later! I'm also definitely rewriting this for several factors. But that'll be for later. I need to get some food. And some rest. (I also love how I keep referencing wips and shit no one has really seen yet. I am so silly haha)

Sometimes I pick good books for discussion and other months I don't... this month was a flop of a book to discuss without much substance...

Next month might encourage more discussion... I'm getting tired of picking books though. Breaking for the summer after next months meeting. When we resume in September, I'm doing things differently.
