Okay idk about anyone else, but I wanted to see/hear that phone call between Coulson and May when she was basically hiding out at her dad's house.

So I wrote it.

So has anyone else thought what Philinda's wedding will be like?

Coulson only wants a formal wedding to see Alya as flower girl

"It will be so adorable!"

May agrees to it because his smile his so dang endearing

The FitzSimmons family is thrilled at the news (of the nuptials)

Their even more excited about their involvement in the wedding

Since the finale, Jemma and Fitz had a son named Charles after the scientist Fitz admired so much he kept a framed photo

He's too young to walk down the aisle, so Flint becomes the official bearer of the ringbearer and carries him down the aisle while holding Alya's hand

Seriously, guys. Phil only wants this fancy wedding because of how cute his honorary grandkids will be

Melinda is going through with it because of how cute they will be

It should be noted that Alya has a major crush on Flint ("Aw, Fitz! Alya has her first crush.")

Melinda's mom suggests that it's only fair that Alya has a day in the wedding dress if she has to wear matching dress.

She is absolutely trolling her daughter

Melinda's dad says, "This is the first time you and I agree on something in a long time"

He just really wants a framed photo of his daughter holding her honorary granddaughter, which makes him honorary great-grandfather

He sends Alya and Charlie presents on the reg much to Fitz's chagrin

Jemma reminds him that their the first children William gets to spoil since his Mellie

Alya of course picks the Mulan wedding dress because Mulan is her favorite princess ("She sounds exactly like Nana Mellie!" - She's convinced that May really is Mulan somehow..."Time travel is a thing")

She also cannot believe that her Nana Mellie has a Da of her own

"Wow! You must be as old as the star I'm named after."

Melinda agrees to a variation of Alya's dream dress that replaces the lace with sheer fabric ("I hate lace" she confides to Jemma)

Mack, Fitz, and Daniel are the groomsmen with Daniel as best man

"OMG, Melinda! I cannot believe Agent Sousa is going to be my best man!"

"Relax, Phil. It's only because Daisy's going to be my maid of honor, and she wants to walk down the aisle with her boyfriend"

Jemma and Yoyo round out the bridesmaids

The ladies all wear similar dresses/suit that fit their personalities

Bobbi and Hunter are the ushers

"Mom and Dad are finally tying the knot! We can't miss this"

Piper and Davis are trusted to make sure nothing interrupts the wedding

Mainly because without this mission, their bickering will

The wedding goes off perfectly and everyone treasures the wedding photos

What does Chinese new year at the May house look like before William and Lian got divorced?

lian wasn’t extra on a lot of things, but she was on two of them: being home on the first day and having eight dishes on the table

it was never about the money for tiny melinda, it was about being with her family

william may does not like chinese near year’s firecrackers

one year lian was out on assignment during the beginning of chinese new year and melinda didn’t speak to her for the entirety of the holiday

the mays have golden envelopes with their family name on them

william took melinda to the lion dances every year until one year she was in them. granted, she was the butt but he took tons of pictures anyways (the photos remain in a box somewhere sealed in the may attic. hunter so did not try looking for them when he showed up at the house)

it’s the only time of year the mays deal with their entire extended family. lian bitches about her sister in law after they leave and william humors her good-naturedly by agreeing

after much struggling and compromises (of course there was debate, there were three stubborn wills in that family okay), melinda agreed to wear the CNY suit once, and for One Family Picture. 

lian framed the photo. melinda hates it to this day. 

they go out for dim sum at least once during chinese new year

melinda has absolutely tried to use chinese new year as an excuse to get out of school. william has absolutely written her a note to get her out of school before lian caught them

“people get their new years’ off. you would think we could get the same.”

(william snuck her out once under the guise of a dentist appointment)

lian orders chinese food for melinda’s elementary school class once or twice during chinese new year

melinda loves chinese new year for the sole reason that lian will swoop in and clean her room instead of telling her to do it

william teaches melinda to write her name in calligraphy and all three of them hang their names on the wall every year

lian lets melinda light the lanterns each year until she accidentally sets one on fire

Local jazz kid refuses to let his boyfriend participate in outside society (Sorry about the quality, tumblr hates artists)

BB Melinda: No, daddy, you are a Jedi too. We practice so we can fight bad guys together!
