happy spooky season everyone!
guess it's time to plan out the fall properly, since the colder months are coming and spooky season is officially started :)
this is going to be a post about my plans for autumn/early winter. I will also most likely (very likely) not complete all of these, so they may be saved for next year!
psst, 🧶 means it's a crochet pattern!
here's my plans for:
socks:
Spooky Season Socks (~$5.78)
Transatlantic Socks ($5.95)
mittens/gloves:
Spooky Season Mittens (~$5.78)
crème (free!)
sweaters/cardigans:
I plan to make my own pattern based on a sweater from a picture of my uncle when he was ~19 :) it's a really pretty cable knit sweater and I can't find a close enough pattern anywhere, so I'll be posting about that soon! (I'll also be posting the pattern on Ravelry once it's completed :) )
The Ransom Sweater (free!)
Autumn Hygge Cardigan (~$5.11) 🧶
hats:
Old memories Balaclava (free!) 🧶
Beyond The Grave Beanie ($6.50)
decor:
Pumpkin Season (~$3.32)
Five Nights Friends ($5.00) 🧶
that's about all I have! happy spooky season everyone!
Afghan is now large enough to be a blanket for me while I knit more squares. 😀😀😀
It snowed a ton here over the course of yesterday and this morning, which means I’m really leaning into the knitting aesthetic. Christmas lights are on, tea is brewed, cozy socks are being knitting, and all the studying I need to do is being firmly ignored. I have to say, it’s a pretty good day so far.
Warming up with My Melody 🤗🎶
6.5″ and still going. Need to hit 8.25″ and then I can start the 10 rows of ribbing at the other end. I think I have enough yarn. The pattern calls for 8.5″ then the ribbing, but based on my calculations after one skein, I decided to cut it down a bit. If it looks too dodgy when I hit 8″ then I’ll start the ribbing there. Either way, it’ll be a nice, lovely, WARM cowl! (woke up this morning to an actual temp of 3F with a -13F wind chill. Needless to say, I can use this right now!!!)
My youngest daughter doesn’t really love to knit, but when she saw this yarn @cosyposyyarnco immediately wanted to work with it. Now she’s working on a wrap for the spring- always great to see new knitters joining the community! Should we officially add her to the account? 😀😉
