Maybe Douxie offering to let the reader stay at his place a while and look after them when they need a place to stay?

~ First things first. You don't have one room mate, you have three. Nari and Archie live there just like him so be prepared to have a sassy talking cat (dragon/wizards familar) and a curious demigod who asks a lot of questions. Don't worry though he's in charge so he'll keep Nari and Archie in line.
~ Honestly the Wizard is so stoked to be having you as a roomie. I mean he loves hanging out with you so this is basically a never-ending sleepover for him. He knows its temporary and until you get back on your feet but he doesn't mind at all. Honestly likes coming home to have a person there. He loves Archie and Nari but your a breath of fresh air to all the magic insanity he deals with on an everyday basis.
~ All together very chill and will mostly adapt to your schedule. He's pretty fluid and doesn't mind changing some things around to make you more comfortable. You might have to keep him from going overbored cause hes just that good of a friend and wants you comfortable. You remind him it's his house and Douxie calms down a bit.
~ He had an extra room in his apartment behind the bookstore that was just storage. So that's now yours. He cleans the room with you putting the storage somewhere else and helps you spruce it up a bit and makes it seem really homey. This may be temporary but he wants you to know you can stay as long as you need no judgment. Nari even gives you a little plant for your desk as a welcome to the house gift. She's very excited to make another friend.
~ He doesn't really have any hardset rules but he does warn you he sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night and his schedule can be weird. He'll try to adjust to you but that can't always happen so be prepared for some sleepy sheingians and the magical choas that'll come. Also Nari might accidentally wake you up because she doesn't really sleep and Archie can be kind of nocturnal so he'll be shuffling around or watching television on nights. Douxie will put a sound barrier on your room if that helps.
~ Honestly he just asks you clean up after yourself. He's not very keen on rules and he's got rent covered. So just do your half of the dishes and laundry maybe pickup, vacuum, or mop every now and than and your both golden. Also don't go opening any weird bottles or touch anything magical without him around. He doesn't want you to get hurt while staying with him.
~ You always have fresh fruit and vegetables and a full fridge. Doux is always stocking up so don't worry about food. And Nari is more than happy to grow things for you to eat. But if you cook anything she enjoys watching so be prepared for a lot of questions and her poking any spices or tools your using to cook. If you let her help she insists on eating it the moment its done or waiting til Douxie gets home so you can eat eat together.
~ Archie and Nari have a habit of climbing or jumping on you so you better get used to it. Archie likes perching because of his dragon instincts and Nari just likes being tall and being included. If you happen to fall asleep on the couch or on a chair they will cuddle with you and you'll wake up to a purring Archie or Nari taking a nap. No you can't move them (cat rules apply). Yes you might get stuck for awhile. But it's very worth it.
~ Nari likes making you flower crowns. When you come out with your outfit for the day she has a matching flower crown waiting for you. She thinks it makes you look Royal and she enjoys when you wear them. If you have to go somewhere and can't wear a flowercrown she'll braid flowers in your hair or give you a flower chain. She misses you during the day so if you give her something of yours to hold onto for the day she's very happy.
~ You spend long nights in the bookstore. While Zoe, Douxie, and Archie go off saving the world every night you wander his book store with Nari learning about magic and reading up on spells. Some nights when they don't have anything to do you'll all sit in front of the fireplace and share stories as you stay up until the next day. They'll show you magic tricks or talk about adventures from hundreds of years ago.
~ Douxie brings food home from his restaurant all the time. You all sit together on the couch watching movies and eating as you joke and laugh. Nari loves cartoons and animated movies but she also enjoys family movies. Archies one for drama. And Douxie doesn't really care but he likes inspiring movies or movies with a good role model dad and damaged son (yes its self projection no don't point it out). Also he likes found family. Movie nights are intresting as a bit of everything will be played. Also if Archie gets bored he won't hesitate to snatch the remote.
~ Ever have a very stressful day or feel like shit? Have no fear Douxie is here and he has something that'll cheer any downtrodden soul. What is it? A classic British Tea of course. Tea, scones, pastries. He's got everything and by the end of your drink you will be feeling better. He's had his fair share of bad days so he'll be making sure you don't go through your feelings alone.
~ If your a friend of Douxies your a friend of Zoes. Zoe is one of Douxies best friends so she'll be stopping by constantly. To make sure he's sleeping, to make sure he's eating, to make sure he hasn't died cause he forgot to text or call. On the plus side she's always wiling to help out with your tech or give free upgrades. She's also more than willing to teach you magic with Douxie if you ever want to try it.
~ Douxies always playing music. So be prepared for a lot of tunes and waking up at 2 a.m because he had an idea and oh god he's sorry he woke you up. Well might as well drink some tea and tell him what you think. If he's writing a new song he'll often ask for your input and brainstorm with you. Some of your best memories are from staying up with Douxie all night perfecting a song the day before a concert.
~ Speaking of concerts he and Zoe have tickets to everything which mean they have tickets for you to everything. By the end of the month you've probabaly been to a concert at least once a week. Their rocker wizards darling and they want you to join in on the fun.
~ It's a choatic household but your room mates love you. Whether you decide to move in permanatley or just stay awhile their happy to have you while your around.
