Context:
There's been some debate on if Peril's firescales makes her a canonically disabled character in the series. Her scales prevent her from touching things like food, scrolls/books, living things, non-stone structures or furniture, and other objects without burning them, which many point to affecting her daily life.
However, some argue it shouldn't count as a disability since it's unlike any real life disability and isn't proper representation. Currently the Wings of Fire Wiki however does not list her as disabled on her page (of course, the wiki is not a canon source).
Propaganda below the cut (cw grooming (non-sexual), abuse, manipulation)
Nata (Monster Hunter)
Mfw a traumatised child doesn't always act perfectly rationally in stressful situations. I guess I gotta post about how much I want him dead now.
FUCK the haters, I'm buying Nata an XBox
Anemone (Wings of Fire)
Anemone was and still is vastly over-hated by the Wings of Fire fandom due to her personality being much different in Arc 2 compared to Arc 1.
Because of this, she’s been called a “brat” by the fandom and that her personality change came completely out of nowhere.
Meanwhile in reality she was a young child - who’s also a princess - that was immensely coddled by her awful classist helicopter parent of a mother - Coral - who literally kept Anemone attached to her on a leash 24/7 and isolated Anemone from interacting with anyone who’s around her age.
A mother who also wanted to use Anemone as a tool for warfare, by Anemone using her overpowered magic yo do whatever Coral’s ally, Blister, wanted Anemone to do - despite the fact that her magic is believed to CORRUPT a dragon’s literal SOUL and eventually make them INSANE and EVIL.
Anemone was also groomed by her elderly teacher into becoming a weapon, possibly in hopes of her becoming insane, who also wanted to MARRY Anemone (or her newborn sister) in order to become king of the SeaWing kingdom.
So her acting bratty, spoiled, entitled, rebellious and disrespectful towards some dragons is understandable for her character to do.
She was also called an evil and awful dragon from the actions she does in Talons of Power, like hitting Moonwatcher with a broom and wanting to kill some of her family members (please hear me out while I explain this).
BUT she did those actions because she was being GROOMED by a manipulative brainwashing dragon - Darkstalker - who’s much older than her, who also used her as a tool or weapon. This resulted in her being jealous of Moonwatcher, since she’s one of the only dragons that Darkstalker actually cares about (who he has also been grooming).
In fact, Anemone was literally BRAINWASHED by Darkstalker into thinking that she wanted to kill her family members, and didn’t realize that was the case until after being I enchanted AND getting in a magical fight with her brother.
Within the books, she feelings guilty for the way she treated others and acknowledged that it was wrong for her to do, believing that it was too late for her to become a better dragon, thinking her soul was to corrupt because of the actions she did.
However, she learns that’s not the case and that she can improve herself and have a happy life, and is working on becoming a better dragon since the epilogue of book 10.
Anemone is a very young child who’s an imperfect victim of abuse, manipulation and grooming. And because of this, she experienced a wide and immense amount of over hatred by the Wings of Fire fandom.
