had a nap and woke up thinking about roommates buddie. like, they're gonna be roommates!!!!!!! hello??? they're gonna be living in the same house. they're gonna be making dinner together and sharing housework and driving to work together and falling asleep on the couch together watching tv. and they're gonna be so so Normal about it! buck watching eddie doing the hoovering like, wow is it hot in here? why do i feel hot all over all of a sudden? maybe i'm coming down with something. eddie smiling happily and saying check! with the pinkest cheeks while Clipboard Buck makes him do kitchen inventory with him so they can write a list for their weekly grocery shop. doing the dishes together!!!!!! buck flicking soap bubbles in eddie's face and eddie just grins wickedly and upends a cup of water all over buck and then has to swallow and catch his breath because buck is all wet and beautiful and laughing. eddie staring at the ceiling on the couch in the dark and his phone lights up and it's buck facetiming him from down the hall and eddie's like, buck??? and buck's like, hi 😁 and eddie's like, you know we don't need to facetime anymore, right? i'm literally down the hall. and buck's like, so come here then. and eddie laughs and goes to his bedroom. buck's bedroom. whatever. and buck's like, you should sleep here. with me. it's your room. and eddie's like, it's your room. but okay, yeah. and buck's like, okay. and eddie climbs into bed. and they're both flushed for some reason, staring at each other, when buck says, okay, goodnight, eddie! and eddie says, yeah. night, buck. and they both lie there for a while slowly, slowly edging closer to each other and trying so so So hard to breathe normally until eventually they fall asleep, skin touching.
