Cabinet hanging tip: I oversize my top stretcher (nailer) and rip it down the middle with a 30 degree miter. After securing the top portion to the cabinet to keep the box square, I level and secure the bottom portion to the wall, essentially turning the nailer into a french cleat. Done this way, I can lift the box, slide it over the wall cleat and fine-tune without having to hold the cabinet steady. One of the pictures shows how I use @woodpeckers_tools clamping squares when hanging cabinets. If the wall has any imperfections (they always do), this added measure keeps everything square when driving the final screws into the wall. #diycabinets #woodworking #woodworkingtips #workshopstorage #garageworkshop #diycabinets https://www.instagram.com/p/B_lXmsAjeSF/?igshid=ui36aqyb7tdc
