Hello everyone! Due to some financial issues, I’ve decided to open commissions.
If interested please contact me via dms or on twitter @hibisha! ^^
Everybody walks past a thousand story ideas every day. The good writers are the ones who see five or six of them. Most people don’t see any.

May I, uh, grab your attention writing/reading side of tumblr...I don’t know if there’s a shorthand for that so imma just go with the long name...
I HAVE A QUESTION:
Which of the following is your preferred style of story progression??? (Whether it’s when reading or when writing)...
A) A simple linear story progression: ya start at 1 and ya follow the numbers until you get to 10 and the story is finished, following the story as the characters know it and only understanding things as they do with a smattering of clues along the way that come up again later in the story that make you go WOAH
OR
B) A story that utilises flashbacks as a means to service the plot e.g. you’re in a present period of time and a thing happens, and you, a reader, is like that doesn’t make sense, until a flashback comes along and you’re like ohhhhhhh wait no that makes perfect sense, even though a character may have already long since understood this occurrence...
I’m at a crossroads in this writing venture!
(Also yes the tags were half bait half a list of my influences so you may observe but also I ran out of tags)
writing websites
anyone know any other good websites for writing stories? aside from wattpad and of course tumblr? Looking for something designed for writing with lots of options!
Thank you, John Scalzi, for the reassurance and the comfort that this is NOT FUCKING NORMAL and yet it is the new normal and we have to deal with it. And we're allowed to feel whatever kind of way about it, and we're allowed to take breaks from the unremitting awfulness by reading, or by writing, whatever helps us get through the day. I need to keep writing. I need you to keep writing too, because your stories are the ones I read when life is hard and I need a break. Go encourage a writer or artist today. tell them you love and appreciate what they're doing, that they helped you get through the day or inspired you or made things bearable for a little while.
This one’s personal. I didn’t expect to fall back in love with writing this August—but I did. If you’re burnt out or drifting, this week’s post might be the soft reminder your creative heart needs. #WriterBurnout #SummerReset #CreativeRecovery #SummerReset #WritingLife #IndieAuthorVibes #WritingInAugust #AuthorStruggles #SoniaRompoti #HotAuthorSummer
