“Zava sees someone who overthinks, trapped in his head with other people’s expectations,” the thing is, Zava’s not wrong. Ever since he’d shaken loose his father’s shackles, he did overthink, hesitant and conflicted, between what had literally been beaten into him and what he knew was right, and what he thought others wanted from him. And that did leave him stuck in his head at times, so much that he needed someone else, like Roy, to drag him out of it. “And Zava hears that the Great Jamie Tartt allowed his father into the locker room, allowed himself to be bullied -”

“Oi,” Isaac snaps, suddenly in between Jamie and Zava, hand on Zava’s chest, not quite pushing, but ready to. Sam and the others start to stand. Jan Mass takes a step closer as Dani looks on, wide-eyed and hurt, as though the last dregs of his idol were disintegrating in front of his eyes. “That’s a bit fucking personal, mate. You’re going too far.”

Warning: Zava is a cruel and nasty as well as an egotistical football wunder-star. There is also gaslighting of a character in regards to previous abuse.
