So, I have been following along pretty closely with this plot and the potential resolution we might get with it. Not a real fan of the "more Wolverine's" that is going on, but the idea of these people specifically targeting mutants who have histories of trauma and trying to exploit and further weaponize them as tools of the state?? I think it's a good topic to try to explore.
Hopefully it is handled with some grace and consideration for these characters who have suffered for more than a half a year in Greymalkin. I'll probably try to look deeper at these developments over the past few issues once this one comes out, but for now, we are getting some teases of a bigger payoff to this plot than what I had initially thought.
And seeing Arkady wearing a Weapon X style helmet is not something I ever thought I would see. Nor did I ever expect him to be given claws in this "future weapon scenario." His thoughts on this whole thing are the ones I'm honestly interested in the most because my goodness to be captured and have people try to turn you into a version of someone you battled for years is another traumatic experience in and of itself.

Rise of Apocalypse — Part 1
Magneto continues to be fascinating, can't wait for next week, when we'll hopefully get a bit more of Kurt, Rogue, and Hank.
Don’t worry babe, in another universe you’re studying in the Xavier’s school for gifted youngsters
A Force to Be Reckoned With
At first I was a bit sad they'd moved the intro, but WHAT AN INTRO! X-FORCE '97!!!! 1000% worth it.
Loved this entire episode, everything about it. I liked seeing Polaris, and Jubilee is the absolute best.
The X-Force are a team that can get way too gritty and “serious” way too quickly, but having Jubilee there balances it out, bringing a bit of fun and also the necessary criticism. Also, I've already said this, but Jubilee is the best.
Also I almost forgot, but: GLOB IS BACK!
