One year ago I had the honor of creating a custom yarnbomb on @twincitieslive at the MN State Fair! I’ve been looking for a good place to display it since my interview and I finally found the perfect spot. Twin Cities Live is all about showing off all the great things the Twin Cities has to offer and Pop Ups at Central Station is all about providing a fun space for the Twin Cities community to gather for free music, books, and games in downtown Saint Paul. “Naturally Bombed” was created in 2017 for a fundraiser in Powell River. Each artist received a chair which was sanded and primed as a blank canvas. I was and still am working with the medium of fibre. So I dyed hand spun wool and yarn bombed my chair. The chair auction was a total success and had a lot of fun creating this chair. 🌸Hi there! Would you like to be a part of a yarnbomb? I yarnbombed this lovely life size horse sculpture for @junkbonanza back in 2016 and she’s been living happily at @canterburypark ever since. I’m excited to share that my girl is getting a fabulous new spring makeover to debut just in time for opening day of Junk Bonanza, April 11th! When I #yarnbombed Re back in 2016, I asked anyone interested in being a part of a yarnbomb to knit or crochet pink and orange flowers. People responded from all around the world, sending in tons of beautiful #flowers! I sewed them all together to create the sweet winner’s wreath you see here. It was so awesome to see all the different flowers pour in that we decided for Re’s new look, we want to add even more! 🌼 You‘re invited to join me again in #knitting, #crocheting, or #felting flowers for Re’s spring look!
