What if Jim is a girl? And Claire a boy? I was just thinking about this when I watched the witch Barbara as Changeling and Walter as a doctor, pictures. Admittedly, in that case, Toby would also be a girl. And I just kind of feel that Walter would have a daughter rather than a son. But really, you do as you please. :)

Aaah yes, that would be cute as well! For another AU I think, for this one I really wanted to keep everything else exactly the same. But thanks for the suggestion, I like the way you think! :D

Yeehaw Lookbook Challenge by @leavemetoplaythesims

Rules: The rules are there are no rules, just make a lil lookbook with the sim of your choosing, but i do expect a lot of hats and boots ;). you can choose to go historic or more modern, it’s all up to you baby! and don’t forget to have fun!! that’s what’s the most important. literally, just do whatever you want as long as you somehow stick to the theme yeehaw aka wild western/country and I’ll be very happy.

I clicked here by accident - but I have to say now that I never knew how much I really, really, *really* needed to read a blog that contains AU scenarios for the Silmarillion. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And while I'm at it: dwarves, what the hell? Everyone else's origin story makes some kind of sense (except for maybe ye old Bombadil and the Ents, but anyway). Cheers.

I couldn’t tell you how the AUs started (I blame Anons) but they’re all under my But…the future refused to change tag.

As for dwarves and ents, you know they say happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way? Sometimes that unhappiness manifests in the husband creating sentient life in his garden shed and his wife, out of concern for the flowerbeds, creating sentient murderplants in retaliation. Someone should really get them counselling. 

Don’t ask me about Tom Bombadil though, I got nothing.

Other way to go to sixsam is that your sim buy and build rocket and update wormholegenerator in to it. And skills that sims need for this is handiness(10) and rocket science(10) and lots of spare parts. But your sim can buy them by using computer. Especially if your sims handiness skills are full.

I know :) It would have been so much easier to do if I had done it in my main save but I didn't want to muck with it. Sadly what I wanted the picture for didn't work out right but I got some major weirdness out of it all so there's that.

Messers Tolkien, why did you not include my favourite scene, i.e. the one where Maedhros rambles hysterically at Manwe about Finwe’s exploded head, while Feanor lies face down in an angstcoma, in the published Silmarillion?

But it passed us by and moved away north at great speed. Melkor was there, we do not doubt. But not he alone! Then suddenly Feanor rose, and lifting up his hand before Manwe he cursed Melkor, naming him Morgoth, the Black Foe of the world. And he cursed also the summons of Manwe and the hour in which he came to Taniquetil, thinking in the madness of his grief that had he been at Formenos, his strength would have availed more than to be slain also, as Morgoth had purposed. Then with a cry he ran from the Ring of Doom and fled into the night, distraught; for his father was dearer to him than the Light of Valinor or the peerless works of his hands: and who among sons, of Elves or of Men, have held their fathers of greater worth? 

After him Maedros and his brethren went in haste, dismayed, for they had not known that he was present when Maedros spoke; and now they feared that he might slay himself.
