🤖🎀🐺
🤖 - EB600 bounded over to him and stopped, eager for a command. The blue triangle and armband on his turnout coat—android insignia—were blinking like his own personal set of hazard lights.
EB's helmet was crooked, his chinstrap in dire need of tightening. His bright eyes were sparkling beneath his face shield. He had soot smudged across his nose.
Tommy refused to find any of it adorable.
🎀 - Tommy stood and tugged Buck upward, locking his arm around Buck’s torso and pressing his chest firmly along Buck’s back. “I suppose you can recover for a few seconds,” he rumbled, lips travelling down Buck’s oversensitive neck. “You’ve been a good boy for four whole minutes now.”
Buck laughed, still trembling. “Don’t call me that either, or I’ll…”
Buck felt Tommy's predatory grin against his shoulder.
🐺 - After prowling the perimeter twice, hunting for any trace of a threat and finding none, Tommy returned to the house to check on his charge.
He paused in the bedroom doorway, his breath catching.
Evan was fast asleep, curled up in the sweet spot where Tommy’s scent was most potent.
Mine, his monster purred.
Tommy knew what he was doing was dangerous. His actions weren’t one hundred percent pure. He wasn’t just rehabilitating an injured wolf. He recognized the feeling in his chest and his monster’s growing fixation. He was just too weak to stop it.
