My yoga view tonight. Gorgeous night for Yoga in the Park. The breeze blew and the temp felt mild. My yoga view today. After a tough week where I’m not completely myself yet, being in nature at one of my favorite classes of the week is heavenly. Feeling the itchy grass on my skin, the breeze in my hair and the sun on my body was so therapeutic. Being able to connect with a yoga sister and practice together when I sometimes felt like crying was better than therapy. Dialectical behavior therapy teaches us that nature, exercise and connection are essential for our brains. Temperature changes helps shift our brain chemistry. Thank you @sarahkscoular for great conversation, connection, mindfulness and practice! You were my first yoga sister in Lawrence and I love and appreciate you so! My yoga view last Wednesday. It’s soggy today, though, so meet us online for a Pop-Up Yoga practice. Join us at 6p central time on Zoom. You’ll get centered and just exhale. You’ll lengthen your hamstrings and quadriceps for a longer, leaner look and feel. You’ll strengthen the pelvic floor and open your heart space while you work on moving towards the splits.
