✧ whitebeard — an unexpected confession

He will probably laugh at this and tell you that you have had too much to drink. It's not a pleasant reaction when you confess, and he doesn't like the sadness that forms on your face. He will be embarrassed for a few moments, not that he doesn't share your feelings, he just doesn't know how to react honestly and he immediately wonders.

Is it a good thing for him to start a relationship with you, when he is comfortable with your friendship at the moment? He is a ladies' man, and being with one person has never happened to him. He doesn't know if he'll be loyal, even though he can't stand the thought of hurting you.

You really leave him on his ass. He didn't expect this, and he'll really have to think about it. He knows that if he rejects you, your relationship will never be the same again and he doesn't like that at all. On the other hand, getting into something more intimate and passionate with you is far from repulsive to him.

It will probably take him a good night of drinking and sleeping before he comes back to you and grabs your lips once and for all.

Here you go, I hope you like it and it´s not too much OOC ^^

(Younger) Whitebeard with a kidnapped wife / S/O Headcanons

even when he was younger he was a calm and sorted guy and he knows very well that his wife / s/o can take care of herself

but she still is a bit too overconfident one day and gets kidnapped

when he hears about this he blanks completely for a moment

Thoughts like „How did this happen?“ & „Why did I let her go alone? I should have been with her!“ running through his head while he goes with the rest of the crew to save you

he keeps reminding himself to stay calm and not to do anything reckless

none the less he is the first one to storm into the hiding spot in which you are held captive

he takes out most of the people that kidnapped you himself

the rest of the crew will tell you later on that they never seen him so aggressive and out of control before

once he sees you chained up and bruised he´ll grab you and hug you so tight you think he will break a few of your bones (luckily that doesn´t happen)

he apologizes for not being there to protect you and you apologize for being so careless

after this he doesn´t leave your side for the next few days

it takes a lot of conviction from you before he let´s you go somewhere without him again

but he will tease you forever after this and call you his „little damsel in distress“
