I was just thinking about it and now I want to know if anyone else picked up on this (apologies if someone else has already posted about this, it’s just driving me crazy)

After Yuuri has issues in Russia during the Rostelecom Cup and sees how well JJ and Yura skate he decides to change his jump composition for Eros at the final. He changes his quad Salchow to a quad Flip because he needed the additional points if he wants a chance to beat the others, right? 

Putting aside the fact that JJ has a break down and gets such a low score and Yura breaks Victor’s long standing record, if Yuuri had decided to leave it the way it was he would have scored above Yura (final score) and taken gold. Yuuri was pulling over 100 points on average with his original technical base score and it would have gotten him the win. 

There was no way to predict that JJ was going to shatter under that pressure. So he made the right call. I know that Yuuri making the choice and no longer doubting himself is such a big victory, easily a bigger one than taking gold. But still. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this???

Inktober Day 26: Stretch

This image was literally the first thing I thought of when stretching. Like, Yurio is insanely flexible and how he just calmly and very nonchalantly, almost bored like, surfs on his phone while stretching like this. Like, this is so easy anyone can do it! At one point I was flexible like this, but not anymore, lol!
