Transplanted 4 blackberry and 4 blueberry bush starts. They look good! I'll start slowly exposing them to the sun and outside in a few weeks. Its too early here in Wyoming for anything to go out doors yet, by at least a month!
My seeds have arrived! I’m excited to share what I ordered with you.
In my package, I received:
Artist Gherkin Coated Pickles
Callaloo (leafy greens)
Derby Bush Beans
Eiffel Scallion (Onion)
French Breakfast Radishes
Pollinator Companions Pack (Tomatoes and Chamomile)
Scarlet Nantes Carrots
Sugar Baby Organic Watermelon
Table Queen Acorn Squash
Tom Thumb Lettuce
Vegetable Spaghetti Squash
Windsor Broad Beans
Zebrune Shallot (Onion)
I'm particularly enthusiastic about trying the Indigenous three sisters gardening method, and growing sugar baby watermelons.
I haven’t bought seeds since 2020. I also haven’t been taking the whole sustainable living thing as seriously as I'd really like to since then. There should be a huge difference in my results, and the amount of food I'm able to yield from my garden this year.🤞
This blog will run on transparency. For that reason, I’m okay to share that this order cost me about $70CAD ($48.52USD).
All of these seeds were ordered from West Coast Seeds.
Disclaimer: I'm in no way sponsored by them. I just like their seeds and gardening resources. I'm sure other companies are just as good!
The community garden is looking so full and beautiful. I feel so blessed to have such an awesome community to work with and garden with. This year has been 150% better than last year. We learned a lot and built new beds, moved to a bigger and sunnier location and got some amazing compost donated. Not to mention the extra month of no frost for our grow season.
Wednesday is a longer/harder plyojam/cardio section , and I either killed it or it killed me today. I really put extra effort into getting my hr up, including jumping when I could, which I usually don't do . It worked!
I set up a custom HR zone on fitbit for zone 5, and I managed 7 minutes in it today! (It's normally just lumped into peak).
