Forgive yourself. Lack of self-forgiveness, self-acceptance and self-permission is the CAUSE of addictions, obsessions & compulsions.
"Rejection is Spirit's protection," is a Buddhist saying. If you don't get what (or who) you want, it's because something or someone better is coming your way.
Shame isn't making mistakes -- it's making the SAME mistakes.
I'm still learning that 'brag' isn't a 4-letter word; it's about letting my best self shine through and owning my value.
My best speech in elementary school was on how much I hate speeches. I still kinda feel that way. That's why I feel sad to admit that sometimes I feel more comfortable sharing my ideas with a room full of strangers than with some of my closest loved ones... I still need to work on my fear of conflict, rejection and abandonment.
In a slump? To feel better, do something nice to brighten someone else's day. Hug someone. Surprise an old friend with a kind email saying you're thinking about them. Buy a stranger a coffee. Helping others helps us.
This year I learned 'no' isn't a 4-letter word. Even when others feel stunned, disappointed or hurt when I say no to them, I'm still allowed to say no. This tiny little word is a building block to confidence, self-respect and self-esteem.
Want to feel bulletproof? Believe in yourself. Then it won't matter what others think of you.
This year I decluttered my: - Home - Relationships - Mind
Life's too short to hang on to crap.
This year I waved good-bye to the part of me that's a gullible, people-pleasing victim. Toodles.
Despite all my growth, I'm still terrified to be honest with others and share how I really feel. I'm a people pleaser who fears rejection, conflict and abandonment, so I "zippy the lippy," hold in my resentment and suffer in silence. This year I've learned that setting boundaries and saying no isn't evil -- withholding my truth is.
Rather than berating myself for not completing every item on my to-do list for the year, I'm celebrating what I DID achieve. I'm telling my inner critic to simmer down.
Meditation has helped me focus and be more productive. It lets me slow down and get rid of the squirrels in my head.
Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute experience.

100 Reasons NOT To Kill Yourself
Wow my post has gone up so many notes in such a small amount of time. I really hope this helps you guys and you really do use this a reference when needed. (boys-and-suicide)
1. We would miss you.
2. Itâs not worth the regret. Either by yourself if you failed or just simply left scars, or the regret everyone else feels by not doing enough to help you.
3. It does get better. Believe it or not it will eventually get better. Sometimes you have to go through the storm to get to the rainbow.
4. Thereâs so much you would miss out on doing.

You will be missing out on every single wonderful thing yet to happen to you.
Boys-And-Suicide
1. Sometimes the hardest person to be honest with is yourself. 2. If you can count your real friends on one hand, you are incredibly lucky. 3. We donât all love the same way. 4. You wonât lose any sleep over being too kind or forgiving. 5. However, boundaries are important. Learn what yoursâ are and set them. You teach others how to treat you. 6. You will never run into your ex when youâre feeling cute. You will run into them in a Target parking lot, exhausted with no makeup, almost completely worn off. 7. Never think youâre the exception. 8. The grass isnât greener on the other side. The grass is green where you water it. 9. Iâm stealing this one from How I Met Your Mother. âWhen itâs after 2:00 a.m. just go to sleep. Because the decisions you make after 2:00 a.m. are the wrong decisions.â 10. If you forget to pay a $15 seatbelt ticket, your license will be suspended and you may not receive notice in the mail, which could result in you getting pulled over and almost going to jail. 11. Dogs are blessings that will love you unconditionally their entire lives. 12. Taking a risk may mean making a complete ass of yourself, but regret is a feeling far worse than embarrassment. 13. You are the person youâll spend the majority of your time with. Make sure you like your company. 14. Real change usually comes in the form of painful life experiences that leave you forever altered. 15. Hot sauce on popcorn. Trust me on this one. 16. Thereâs a huge difference between growing up and aging. 17. Faith is important. Whether you put your faith in God, the universe or a loved one, itâs important to put it somewhere. 18. Always double check to make sure the lid of your coffee cup is completely shut (especially when driving). 19. Worry is an attempt to control the outcome of a situation. In the end, there are very few things we have control over. Let it go. 20. On the really hard days, take life 5 minutes at a time. 21. You are not obligated to validate your life or your relationships on social media. 22. The heart is amazingly resilient and has an immense capacity for love. 23. Back up your files. Always, always, always backup. 24. Spare keysâŠthey are important. 25. Life rarely turns out the way we envision it. But thatâs what keeps things interesting. 26. A day spent doing something you love, even if itâs binge watching series on Netflix, is not a wasted day. 27. In the grand scheme of things, life is incredibly short. Live the fuck out of it, and make it count.

This year I learned to walk away from toxic work relationships. (Just wish I looked this hot when I did it!)
