Send < + a word and my muse will tell you a memory related to it.
If they don’t have any related memories, they will say what is the first thing that comes to their mind upon mentioning that word.
"WHYYYY WEREN'T YOU AT TAPU PRACTICE?!?!" ~🍗⚡more like tapu memo amirite
There is a confused, snorting noise. “…we have practice?”
The pokemon let out an odd cry. there seamed to be no ‘voice’ to it: none that the deity could control. Grass would start to spread. He was slower then Koko by far-and so his terrain would start to over take places it had already covered. Yet, he seamed-stiff. As if he was trying to let the electric terrain take effect.
*noogies the bulu?*
Bulu snorts, waving his arms, in an attempt to ward off the attention.
🎈Do you remember the start of your life? How long ago was it?
“It was a long, long time ago.”
They’re uncertain how to answer, as time itself was not a concept they had for awhile. And with some pokemon like Palkia running around, they really couldn’t be certain of time.
“Several thousand years. Eons, really.”
😇Do you think you’ll ever experience an afterlife?
(Do to the nature of this question, this will have Trigger warnings for Death and The Afterlife. While i’m stating this as a headcanon for my blog, I’m also perfectly willing to change it or entirely ignore it, if people would prefer)“I already have.” Bulu is quiet for a moment. Technically he had already answered the question, but the curious individual would certainly want more information.
“There are times when We…I, might become injured in battle. So, I rest-taking in the powers of nature. This process takes awhile-months. Years, even. During this time, my spirit is allowed to graze at the edges of the afterlife.”
The deity looked to his hooves for a moment. Should he continue? Well, it couldn’t hurt, could it? “Generally, one of two things happens. Ether I’ll stick to the borders of life and death, speaking with a few spirits that I knew. Or, I’ll enter a brief reincarnation cycle-”There is another deep breath, as he continues to judge his words.
“Usually, I will spend a lifetime as a rattata, or a similarly common pokemon. Its a good way to judge humanity: and a break from the constant responsibilities of protecting the island.”
Did that answer the question? He thought for a moment. No-no not quite.
“I’m not sure if i’ll ever permanently enter the other life. I might: its not impossible.”

It hadn’t been a long before his last kahuna had been excused from his service. If that was truly the term to call his anger.
The deity was angry: but he must remain calm. He couldn’t lash out at humanity as a whole, and the one who had betrayed him. That one, was the only one who deserved his anger.
There was no question that the pokemon was tense. Anyone who tended to the farms would see how bitter and sour the food had become, even after just a few hours.
The news came to the other islands quickly: Tapu Bulu – known for being peaceful to the point of slothfulness – had come out to strike down its own kahuna.
There had to be a mistake.
He makes his way past the Tapu Village and into Haina Desert with no trouble. (The people are afraid; they scatter like Rattata suddenly exposed to light.)
At last he stands in the doorway of the ruins.
“Tapu Bulu! Explain yourself!”
(Arrogant man. The gods owe you nothing.)
The deity snorted, opening a single eye.
What was it, this time.
Seeing the kahuna of MeleMele, he let out a quiet grunt. There was no reason for him to be there.
[”Explain, what?”] his voice-if it could even be called that--had a grumbling, rough tone.
It was one of annoyance. Not yet of anger, no. Yet, this was no tourist, unaware of the insult. This was the kahuna of MeleMele. They knew better.
Something in the back of the deity’s head, tried to demand softness. After all, the kahuna had lost one of his closest friends. This was going to take time to process.
So I had some headcanons, for the former Kahuna of Ula'Ula island. This isn't as organized as I would like, but I'm kind of enjoying this character i'm writing. I wonder if I should make him a side character on this blog-at least for past-time zone verses.
put under a read more for length.

Bulu snorted.
“The goomy need lots of rain.”
A simple excuse.
"I can't sleep all the time, after all! I do like to make sure that the land is cared for-who else is going to grow all these flowers, after all?"
Betrayal & Regret Sentence Starters
“I told you not to get too close to me.” “From the day we met, I knew I’d hurt you eventually.” “I wish you never had trusted me.” “I told you to leave, but you didn’t. I gave you the chance!” “We were never friends. I’m so sorry.” “I did something terrible.” “It was inevitable, but I regretted it every step of the way.” “I’m mainly sorry that somewhere along the way, I started to care about you.” “I guess this is a lesson in not trusting people, right?” “How long?…Since the beginning.” “I wish I could just make a wish and become a better person.” “None if it was real, but I wish it was.” “Do you think I liked hurting you?” “I hurt people. It’s all I’m good at.” “I did it because I had to, not because I ever wanted to.” “I -did- care about you, I just had no other choice.” “You should have walked away when you had the chance.” “If we had never met, it would have saved us both some grief.” “I know it hurts, but I’m still glad we had the chance to know each other.” “Hurting you was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.” “I didn’t want it to be like this, but I had no control!” “I guess I’ve just never been a trustworthy person.” “I don’t blame you. I wouldn’t want to forgive me either.” “So? Aren’t you going to say something?” “If I tell you what I did, we’ll probably never see one another again.”
“When were you going to tell me about this?” “Why me? Of all people, why me?” “You planned this all from the beginning?” “I wanted so badly to think you were different.” “How could you lead me along like that?” “None of what we had was ever real, was it?” “So, our friendship didn’t mean anything to you?” “I would have done anything for you, but you’ve ruined all of that.” “All of the things I sacrificed for you didn’t mean a thing?” “I wish I had known when we met that you were such a vile person.” “If I could go back, I would just walk away.” “I forgive you, but I’m not going to forget what you did.” “No. I don’t accept your apology.” “After all your lies, how do I know you mean it when you say you’re sorry?” “I hope you realized what you did was cruel.” “I still care about you.” “Just tell me that your feelings towards me were genuine.” “What on earth is worth betraying someone who loves you?” “If you want to regain my trust, you have to earn it.” “Don’t just say you’re sorry. Show me that you’re sorry.”

For verses, I kind of wanted to try a war-time setting. I’m not the best at battling, but I do think it would be interesting to have a RP or two, set in a time when Alola was at war with ether another country, or from within.

Something was horribly wrong.
Koko could sense it- something’s happened to one of the other guardians. While its island was always its highest priority, nothing seemed to be particularly wrong on Melemele at the moment, and it couldn’t just leave one of its siblings alone like this.
Akala was fine, but Ula'ula… seeing the thorny vines spread out across the island set alarm bells off in Koko’s mind. Immediately, it zipped to the Ruins of Abundance.
“Bulu! What is going on here?! What are you doing?!” Electricity was already forming around the Melemelian guardian, and even with Bulu’s resistant typing, it was ready to fight if need be.
@tapubulusgarden
Bulu snorted, clanging his hooves together. Under the best conditions, it was difficult to tell his mood just by body language. This, just looked outright unnatural. A tail twisted just slightly wrong, arms that were held far too stiff. The marks of exhaustion were obvious, yet they weren’t acting tired at all.
The guardian could say nothing. Whatever was controlling him, lacked the skill to mimic his voice. Grass started to sprout from gaps within the stone.
