What I wanted from Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight: this
What I got from Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight: not this
I try to be sympathetic. I get that it sucks to love someone who doesn’t love you back.
However, helping someone get over someone else or build up their confidence doesn’t make you entitled to a romantic relationship. If you went into the relationship* thinking that then your help was selfishly motivated and was only done for your own personal gain. I do not feel bad for you. I’m actually happy they’re not dating you.
Stop thinking these acts deserve romantic reciprocity because they don’t.
I’ve helped friends and family members do both of these things and the only thing that these acts imply is that if I need comforting, help, guidance, or support I can reasonably expect it to be reciprocated because we have developed a history and intimacy* between one another.
Help and guidance are gestures and acts of love, yes, but love is not inherently romantic. You shouldn’t be helping people to get them to love you. You should be helping them because you care about them and their wellbeing.
*communicative definition
This was so ridiculously drawn out and the conclusion was so obvious yet still I couldn’t tell where this was going
my mom: it’s really not good to eat past sunset me, whose circadian rhythms have aligned with a nearby raccoon’s: your rules don’t apply here
Breaking news:
Girls actually love nice guys, it’s just that you’re not as nice a guy as you think you are.
I find this really hard to believe, as every time I’m interested in a girl she ends up with an asshole and I end up friendzoned or worse.
Imagine being the *exact* type of guy a post was aimed at, but somehow remaining blissfully unaware of that fact…
if you only support bi girls in f/f relationships then you don’t support bi girls
Support bi kids in same gender relationships. Support bi kids in other gender relationships. Support bi kids who are out. Support bi kids who are in the closet. Support bi kids who have a stronger preference for one gender.
Support bi kids.
Thank you for this
I see your “romantic relationships shouldn’t be more important than platonic relationships” and raise you “romantic relationships shouldn’t be rooted in anything but strong, healthy, and mutually rewarding friendships anyways”
i haven’t stopped seeing notes for this since I posted it and I just wanna reiterate: it’s really important that you don’t get romantically involved with people you can’t be friends with. Separating a romantic relationship from a platonic context is unhealthy. Your romantic partner/s should always be your friend/s.
bitch…omg
slam me in that Showert Deluxe… get me an omniwash™

I hear if you turn them all on at once you can use the water pressure to glitch past the boss room

I can feel the aura and I know exactly who it is you ass
This is 1000x more terrifying than any dream I will ever encounter.
No no no
Let it be know that December 20 is when Yukamitsu has some canon dialogue with no heterosexual explanation.
