Beyond Good and Evil - Korean thriller/detective drama - I have never rewatched a show three times in two weeks or foregone both food and sleep to finish watching a show in under 48h before. I cannot express how good this is or the amount of re-watchability it has.
The Summer Hikaru Died - The vibes and aesthetics are just on point, bonus for gay subtext, double bonus for "what does it mean to be a person and find a place for yourself in life"
Doctor Who - Easy one, I haven't watched past season 11, the idea of Eleven dying gives me anxiety. I HAVE watched some of the older stuff as well, yes.
Frieren - The only show I have watched that actively puts me at peace. "What is the value of life and time to people that are virtually going to live forever"
Sand Sea - stealing this one. Just. Yes.
The Magnus Archives - Audio drama (show) - I'mcheating but whatever, I can do what I want. Excellent. Eldritch comedy workplace horror. I said what I said.
Malevolent - Another audio drama (fight me) - They've been married and trapped together for 15 years (emotionally speaking,) want to be separated so badly but don't anyone dare say a damn thing about either of them or they'll both bite. Also separation? you mean getting back together at the first possible chance, right? Made me cry a couple times. I was convinced Faroe was spelled Furoh for the longest time.
Word of Honor - Gave me feelings. Loved the ending. Falling in love with a dying man should not be this cute.
Z nation - two absolutely insane seasons, with some plot but mostly a lot of nonsense and a "what if ?" attitude. More after, but more plot heavy to follow. Zombie tornado? Giant cheese wheel of zombies? Zombie bear? Radioactive zombies? Zombie strippers? You name it, you got it. I am stupidly fond of the main bastard man asshole against my better judgement. He is true to himself from start to finish.
I'm more a movie person in general? so I'll use this slot as freeform and add Pandorum (horror in space, what if a colony ship got lost on its way to its destination) and Legion (Apocalypse via angelic possession, the pacing just scratch my brain so good)
