Ah, the wonders of Anchordeep... I really love the combination of gems and water! Although working on the gems individually took some of my braincells as sacrifice. However!!!!! I'm satisfied with the result!

So I had this whole move across the USA from Oregon to North Carolina. I was staying with my grandma in Oregon, but that was meant to be temporary. 3 months turned into almost a whole year. With me in Oregon, I had my cat and my sisterās dog that she left with me when she moved out on me. She left me with him and a place I couldnāt afford and complained when I needed help. She then complained when I chose to move across the USA because she used my apartment still for friend gatherings without my permission and I still had her dog.
The next few months of me living in Oregon, unable to get a job but supporting myself with a few commissions, she would ask to borrow money from me almost every month all while asking me to also buy games to play with her. I didnāt buy any of the games. My grandma that I was living with was paying for all of my cat and HER DOGāS needs. My sister didnāt have to lift a finger for him for around 2 years now since she moved out on me. (I didnāt want her to move out btw. She just really didnāt want to live with family anymore when us being roommates was also her choice. Fuck me I guess.)
For the past several weeks, my mom has told her that she, the pets, and I were all coming back to North Carolina for a few months and my sister was saying the whole time we could stay with her for a bit until we had money for an actual AirBNB. I told my mom my stress from my sister is that she was gonna try to force me to get a job for the 3 months here when that isnāt realistic. Sure enough, not even in North Carolina yet on our 4 day drive, and she forwards a hiring post to my mom about me. She then calls later and takes a jab at me being unemployed again. I want a job but itās not viable right now with my living situation and I feel like Iām a damn failure because of it so I had a spiral in the car.
We got to the city yesterday and she stopped by our hotel. Still acting like we can stay there but sheās worried about the dog. Her dog. But everything will be fiiiine.
We wake up and we just ask her to go to her leasing office to see if they can make a pet exception for him since heās so large and since some of his shots are out of date, if she could call to make an appointment for him. She acted like we were asking her to move heaven and earth and hung up on our mom. Still hasnāt told us we couldnāt stay with her.
We get to her apartment today, and she opens the door but doesnāt greet us and lets HER DOGāS leash fall to the ground. My mom is trying to stay positive like āI love it! Your place is so nice! We can buy a futon that matches your carpet!ā But my sister is still ignoring us. She then complains how loud HER DOG is being because heās excited. Not even barking, just running around. She will also just die on the hill that HER DOG is all of our dog. My mom drove 9+ hours north and 9+ hours back and helped pay for HER DOG as a graduation gift. Some how my mom driving and helping pay for him makes him also hers and I donāt know how I got involved with the āownershipā of him. She said how it wasnāt fair that heās only her dog when we need something. GIRL. HE WAS ALWAYS YOUR DOG. She just kept complaining and made more jabs at me being unemployed. How expensive her rent is despite her always asking me for money because she would spend it all on her two cats she got after moving or video game merch. We were unwelcome and left. The dog was also scared of her stairs.
This dog is such a sweet gentle good boy. But he is so big. Places need to be pet friendly for dogs close to 100 pounds and he isnāt even fat, just really big. We canāt afford those and my sister is refusing to help us. We came all the way down here because she said she could house us with her for a couple weeks and now we have no where to go and hotels in this city are all over 100USD because we need them to be pet friendly. My mom starts her new travel job here soon, but wonāt get paid for another 3 weeks, but we have no where to go. Weāre at a hotel again but we donāt know where weāll be tomorrow or the next while.
We donāt want to have to rehome him, and my sister would be even worse if we did. He is such a good boy, but he is a huge problem right now. Iām moving across the country because my sister moved out and so I have to travel with my mom since I canāt afford to live on my own and Iām not mentally sound enough to do so either.
