For my 3D production class I had to create a three shot short that was a remake of an existing movie scene- with muppets. I ran out of time to do the particle water effects, but this is basically Pacific Rim anyway.

Honestly I miss the energy Tumblr had when the first Pacfic Rim movie came out. Everybody was talking about who they were drift compatible with and that was like a huge compliment. Ppl were drawing Kaijus, and Jaegers, naming ‘em. It was a better time

Oh my god, during the scene in PRU where everyone is flipping their shit abt Shao’s plan, ‘Newt’ says:

“Now we’re shouting, there’s no need to shout.”

That’s. That’s the precursors. Newt would never pass up shouting.

He also respectfully shuts down Hermann’s ideas, instead of arguing.
