I wasnât happy with the quality of the original pride landscapes⌠so I repainted all 10. Hope yâall like the new versions of disguised pride flags!
I just want to say that no matter how many times I see the prequels I never know if the dialogue put over the stills is real or not.
No clue.
Not a word sticks with me and this dialogue seems as valid as any other.
âTwenty-five years ago I was working as a reporter when I received a tip from a police detective in Belgium. Â Heâd been working to break up a child pornography ring, but suddenly the case was closed by his bosses. Â The order had come from the mayor. Â He was so upset that the case had been squashed that he mailed us some of the evidence. Â We received two black-and-white stills from a surveillance camera. Â They featured a man. Â We knew that his name was Robert, he lived in the south of Holland, and he operated by feeding hungry kids in order to abuse and film them. Â We searched all over for Robert. Â We showed the photos to all our sources connected with these networks. And after months of searching, we finally discovered him living just a few kilometers from my house. Â We rang his doorbell, told him some bullshit story, and got inside. Â There were piles of VHS tapes everywhere. Â We waited until he went to the bathroom and grabbed as many as we could. Â They contained all the horrible things you could imagine. Â We called Robert in to our offices, showed him the tapes, and he started pointing fingers at other people. Â A giant ring was uncovered. Â And one of the people that Robert accused was named Mr. Norbert. Â We discovered him in one of the videos. Â He was only visible in four or five frames. Â And do you know who he was? Â The brother of the Belgian mayor who squashed the original investigation.â (Amsterdam, The Netherlands)

⌠I am unironically here for this
this is the funniest thing Iâve ever seen in my life
This is - legitimately - my favourite delivery of Shakespeare I have EVER seen (and I have seen some good-ass productions yo, in the Globe Theatre itself even). Like seriously, even though the words are unchanged, heâs stripped away ALL of the archaic pretense and assumed grandeur of ~presenting the bard~ that makes even the most wildly talented of actors and innovative of productions inherently inaccessible to a modern audience. Like, theyâre still great, they can still communicate the message and (some) of the nuance, but theyâre still always a step removed from being identifiable to any viewerâs lived experience. Theyâre still always reciting 15th century poetry. But this guy? This guy is like, screw iambic pentameter, to hell with being precious about the material, HOW WOULD AN ACTUAL PERSON SAY THIS SHIT?
Like this. And itâs beautiful. Itâs beautiful to hear a soliloquy I loved so much already, and have it come to life in a way it never, ever, did before. I feel like I grasp his motivations, his twists and turns, no longer on an academic level but on a visceral, instinctive one. Because heâs presenting his mental and emotional journey in a way that speaks honestly, like a real person.
So yeah, this shit post? I love it. Deeply and sincerely.

Do not look away.
Ok dude its not they going to kill them like the Nazis calm down geez
If we do nothing now, weâre going to find out in a hundred years that they did. And then it will be a hundred years too fucking late.
Shut the fuck up and donât look away.
A few months ago people were like ârelax the immigrant detention centers arenât going to become concentration camps.â People doing nothing and making excuses for their inaction and trying to convince others to do the same is exactly how death camps happen.
also people have actually died in there, due to ICEâs abuse and neglect. and those numbers are just gonna keep rising because bootlickers like tumblr user cutebearfrank say stupid shit like âitâs not so bad jeezâ and look the other way so like DOUBLY SHUT THE FUCK UP
The Nazis didnât start building the gas chambers in 1933, they started using them eight years after gaining power. When the Nazis got into power, Hitler never said that he was going to commit genocide or try to murder all the Jews in Europe. The Nazis never said that they were going to build gas chambers. What they said was that the Jews were the cause of Germanyâs decline, the lose of itâs empire, the failing economy, etc and they were going to stop that. They left it to to interpretation to how they would meet that end. Just like building a wall or banning Muslims, all the Nazis gave were the same vague statements that were easy to grasp and helped root the idea in peopleâs minds. Â
By the way, the photo of Himmler up there was taken in 1942, nine years after the Nazis assumed power. The one of Pence is taken three years after Trump did.Â
I donât want to get too political about shiz here, but Hong Kong is currently fearing losing their independence to China, and the violence in their protests is intensifying further. Although I live in the United States, I wanted to just spread awareness as my family is from Hong Kong. There are things unique about being from Hong Kong, but please note that the things I listed are not just exclusive to Hong Kong, as other parts of China and other countries may share similarities. I am just speaking about a few of the many experiences Iâm thankful for having from a family that immigrated to the United States all the way from Hong Kong.Â
