Hibiscus flavored anything in the U.S. tastes like perfume. I order hibiscus flavored food and drink items because I love sorrel & hibiscus tea and it’s such a rare flavor in the U.S. that I forget that it tastes like shit by the next time I order myself what I think will be a nice little hibiscus drink. It’s never nice. It is not the refreshing, tart and delicious flavor of hibiscus, it tastes like perfume. From a bottle. It tastes like accidentally getting hit in the mouth with your cousin’s Victoria Secret body spray back in 2006. It is not hibiscus flavored, it is sobbing at a sleepover in 7th grade flavored. I never learn. I’m sure I’ve made this post before because I love hibiscus and keep naively ordering hibiscus flavored items and suffering for it.

OOC, fully agree. Seeing advertisements for stuff like this on a website used by so many artists is really discouraging, not to mention dangerous. This isn’t an “option to chat with your favorite goober,” it’s a thinly veiled way to manipulate people so Shapes can gain more revenue. It’s disgusting— it’s an evil ploy for money at the expense of our mental health and the privacy&boundaries of our friends/followers.
