My name is Cari, welcome to my tumblr! I'm 27, use she/her pronouns, an Apollo devotee, and practice Hellenism. The last two make up the majority of what is posted here, and the rest are other lovely things <3

About Hellenism
This is the religion of the ancient greek gods, such as Zeus and Aphrodite, and many others. There are a few things worth mentioning about the subject on this tumblr:
• The discussion of hellenism on here is strictly religious, not fandom
• This tumblr is godspouse friendly
• This is the tumblr of a religious person, not a religion focused tumblr (though religion is 80% of the content)
I am happy to discuss the religion and my experiences with any adult who desires to do so! I'm not shy, and I'll message first if you have on your tumblr that you want to make friends in the hellenic polytheist community (:
Before You Follow
There will be adult content on here, generally in the form of artistic graphic content, mainly nudity, and heavy discussion topics. Please keep this in mind and make your choices wisely <3
Welcome!
If you made it here, welcome to my tumblr! This is a place that is welcoming to all who want to be here. Please know that I care deeply about you feeling safe here, in the hellenic polytheist community, or as a person who likes being on tumblr. Any sort of bigotry is not tolerated and will result in being blocked and reported.
The Xenia Declaration has been signed and is heavily supported.

The Catalogue of Ships in the Iliad is, to a modern audiences, what classicists have called “boring as hell,” but I can’t help but think that if you were watching Homer recite it it would have been more like when comedians go, “anybody here tonight from Chicago?” and the Chicagoans in the back start cheering
Homer’s like, “and there were forty black ships from… LOCRIS” and the Locrians in the crowd start going absolutely nuts
