The Owl House: Savage Revolt

When Emperor Belos ended the Savage Ages, a witch named Emmaline rises up against Emperor Belos with a revolt against his rule.

(I had to write this down here because I’m considering working on it!)

Key Pointers so far:

Event takes place almost 49-50 years before the events of TOH

Emmaline is confirmed to be Wren’s grandmother

Emmaline is the first of few to be petrified by Emperor Belos’ orders, 10 years into his rule (assumed headcanon petrification was created/put as punishment 5 years into Emperor Belos’ ruling)

William was 10-11 when Emmaline was petrified

William followed Emmaline’s belief in secret

Emmaline has specially written a spell-rune (invented by herself) that can give an illusion of having stamped by the coven, a secret kept in her diary and William.

William works in the Construction Coven but secretly able to do plant magic thanks to Emmaline’s spell (under the assumed headcanon that once you reach 18/19 after choosing a coven and getting stamped, you cannot change covens)

I’m not sure if I should go ahead and make this story... Should I? Is this even considered an AU if it’s a fanmade past story of the Boiling Isles??

Edit: William’s age is miscalculated and wrong previously, my mistake. I have changed the age accurately now. William is 50-51 during the events of TOH.
