I think something happened near end of TYCT that really upset both Scott and Kaitlyn. Scott was a wreck for months following that tour (he still is a bit of a wreck but he is back to speaking highly about Tessa)
Everyone SAYS this, and I know you people are strangely super invested in Potue, but istg this is Abbje ERASURE
Here’s ALL that I know (I don’t know shit, to be clear, this is all what I’ve heard and some of it I was able to verify, but most of it is HIGHLY suspect):
1. They were together in some capacity, albeit with some weird boundaries around it, in the time around PYC
2. Scott was living with her at her home for some amount of time that spring
3. Shit went down in Japan/cracks were already starting to show
4. They were no longer together by the time Tessa went to France
5. Scott was a MESS that summer, and moping around
6. His family was pushing for him to get over it/her, and supplied Jackie as a emotional support ******
7. Scott and Jackie met up at a beer garden to celebrate the death of Jackie’s grandmother (always keeping it classy)
8. Scott traveled to FL to visit Jackie, around his birthday I believe? Early September from what I remember
9. Scott came back to Canada and Jackie went to Hawaii with Josh
10. Things were kinda sorta on the path to being repaired during TYCT
11. Jackie shows up at Nashville, with her and scott being flirtatious (while drunk) at the gala, but are both are seen out and about otherwise looking miserable (bc sober, most likely)
12. WOF weekend and that whole shitshow
13. By December, they were no longer speaking, Scott was apparently slagging her off in private, he fucks off to FL, and he gives that insane drunk radio interview while there and is spotted varnishing a table at Jackie’s slum-ass condo
14. Scott goes back and forth between Canada and Florida, allegedly does not want to do the shows in Korea and starts pushing for retirement
15. Things maybe start to get better between them spring 2019? Jackie is back to FL, so quelle surprise
16. Things start improving? video drops of VM being drunk and silly undercover at SOI, and Scott hightails it back to FL promptly thereafter (bc he’s in trouble? unclear), Jackie tries to break up with him? (rumors floating around on this, i don’t have “tea”) Either way, he jets down there to grab her and take her to Mallorca as a last-minute addition
17. First night in Mallorca is kind of ok, the rest of the trip is kind of a disaster, Scott spends all his time and attention with Jackie, Tessa is visibly miserable and mostly alone (EDITED: Mallorca was before Newfoundland, my bad)
18. Things are better again in Newfoundland? Jackie and Scott are fighting maybe? Now i have no clue, i had this all ass backwards
18. They’re back to mostly icing each other out after that, Korea is super strained; Scott gets engaged in July and doesn’t tell Tessa, hometown WOF announcement is made, Tessa agrees to retirement, RTR is a shitshow
19. Tessa starts dating Mo; either summer before RTR or fall after? Maybe casual in the summer, more serious in the fall? (unclear, have no insight here, puck bunny tumblr is not reliable) Are public and assumed to be together at Leafs ball in January; Tessa spotted at a bunch of Leafs games after that
20. Scott vacations in FL despite the growing pandemic in March 2020, Tessa and Mo go officially public on Arkell’s livestream; Tessa quarantines with Mo in Vancouver
21. Scott’s Thoughts drops
22. Scott and Jackie move back to Canada in April and quarantine for 2 weeks, during which time he and Jackie do a video for GKP where Scott is visibly tanked in the middle of a field, while Tessa and Mo are cute
23. Scott does a bunch of interviews filled with nice things to say about Tessa and Morgan, while Tessa does an RW&Co virtual event where she says she doesn’t miss skating but does want to skate with Mo (blech)
24. Tessa and Mo get a puppy and stage weird professional engagement-style photos to commemorate it
25. Tessa moves to TO (assumed to be moving in with Mo, whose lease I guess was up or something?)
That’s all that I know; as you can see, the more current the timeline, the less I know, presumably because the rumors that float around take time to trickle out. My assumption is that there will be an engagement announcement in the next few months, especially if Scott’s wedding occurs
