I’ve decided to work this cat into Aspen’s backstory!

So this cat is often drawn by _picolo on instagram with his teen titans series. I’ve done some research and I can’t find a name for it so I’m calling it Glitch.

Basically instead of the titans finding Glitch, Aspen adopted him when they left home for their job at 18 to keep them company. Aspen pushed themself really hard at school and got an office job instead of going to uni, and their job was quite far away from their parents so they moved into an apartment to gain independence. This was their first time living alone so when they found a stray cat roaming outside their office building, they signed paperwork to adopt him as soon as possible.

When Aspen joined the teen titans and became Onyx Moon, they took Glitch with them to the titan tower and he (Glitch) kind of became the team's pet. He still belongs to Aspen, and don't ever tell them otherwise, but the other titans view him as belonging to the entire team.

Small design difference: My version of Glitch has a skin defect where the usually pink skin inside one of his ears is green. This is the reason Aspen named him glitch and it’s adorable! (All images in this post are of the original design so do not have this)

As always, the image of Aspen was made on picrew and I don’t have the link. The other images were found on pinterest but were originally from Gabriel Picolo (_picolo on instagram) who worked on the graphic novel series Teen Titans with Kami Garcia.
