Auro Lindbeck

Auro Lindbeck was the only chlid of Lydia and Robert Lindbeck, and lived a meagre existence in a lumber village up in the north. At 11 years old, Robert ran out on the family after amassing a mountain of gambling debt, leaving Lydia and Auro to saddle it. Lydia, now under egregious financial strain, began to neglect Auro in favour of working extra shifts to pay everything off. Auro began to misbehave and act out in order to get any form of attention possible. This behaviour followed him well into adulthood.
After years upon years of causing mayhem wherever he went, the townsfolk had eventually had enough of his antics and decided to collectively punish him for his disruptive behaviour. In a world that generally considers magic dangerous and taboo, the townspeople decided to scare him with the one thing that everybody feared most: magic.
They found a spellbook. The spell they cast was primal, gleaned from ancient languages long dead. Unfortunately for those casting it, their illiteracy had completely butchered the spell (whatever it was) and warped it beyond recognition, surrounding Auro with a pillar of violently swirling smoke. When it dissipated, he now stood 30ft tall, with no way to break the spell in sight to restore him to normal.
He has since been wandering the woods aimlessly trying to survive for six long years.
